Decent location for the Detroit area, quick access to the highways into town and around the area. Eating aailable but driving distance.

Great staff and room looked good but it smelled like old hotel to me in my room.

Decent hotel but not great service. Housekeeping is by request only, which we were not told at check-in. On the second day, housekeeping gave us towels and emptied the trash but didn’t make the bed or take care of any of the used glassware or coffee cups. The air conditioner leaked, so the carpet was wet and had a bit of a musty smell.

Good stay. No receipt provided on departure. To be emailed, not yet!

We came in to the hotel and we had a room reserved. We showed them the confirmation and they said “we don’t have that room” and “we are overbooked”. So the woman at the desk sent us to embassy suites and said she is transferring us there and that we could stay there tonight so we went there. Then they told us they where fully booked and they even told the woman at hyatt that they where booked over an hour before she told us to go there. She also promised us a full refund and paid hotel but we never got any of that. Also we went around all the hotels looking for a place to stay due to poor coordinating between expedia and hyatt. Luckily we found somewhere but this is ridiculous and should never happen to anybody.

Close to all amenities

My family can from out of state expecting a to stay at a clean hotel. It was not. From the moment i entered the parking lot trash, then once i stepped through the doors i was welcome with the lounge area which sat stained chairs. No one was at the desk took me to walk around to find an associate; which i didnt know that they worked their because their lack of attire/uniform. But she was very nice i believe she was a housekeeper. Once the front desk agent came she was helpful but her unprofessional attire should be addressed. The pool room was ok and thw 3rd floor hall smelled of urine. Once in our room it was average the carpet left the room with an odor and a few stains room 322 needs to be shampooed. I met the houskeeper she was very nice and made sure i had what i needed. Overall i would not come back to this location.

Missed maid service 2 days.

Exceeded expectations. Great hotel, easy to find, close to Pine Knob Amphitheatre. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable. Nice sitting area. The only thing that was a bit weird was the bathroom layout. The Shower/Toilet area was a bit cramped. Not a big deal at all. Definitely is my hotel of choice when attending concerts at Pine Knob or visiting Great Lakes Crossings Mall.

Our stay was j teresting. It was the first time I've had to evacuate for a fire drill early in the morning. The staff did their best to accommodate and instruct guests. Some guests were understanding others not. I applaud the staff for having to mediate the various flavors of customer temperaments over the situation.

Someone pulled the fire alarm at 4 am. The building was evacuated and after about an hour later we were aloud to return to our rooms. The elevators were turned off and a company had to come out to get the elevator back on. In the mean time everyone that room wasn't on the first floor had to use the stairs. And there are 6 floors and my room was on the fourth floor. The elevator was out for a whole day.

Nice experience except for a loud group in the pool area and a delay at check in.

Nice sitting area in room, beds comfortable....Did not like that toilet and shower were in one room, sink outside of toilet room to wash hands, sink had no stopper meaning if you dropped something, it was gone...phone did not work, charging ports did not work, bed by window not accessible due to next to heat/air source

Our stay was okay. The pool was nice and so was the free breakfast. Our first night staying, they didn’t get our trash when it was full so I went to the lobby to get trash bags and then had to go to the floor that we were staying to bring back the trash to the lobby so someone would take it out. For whatever reason, we would have to go up to the front desk everyday we were staying because the card wouldn’t let us back in the hotel.

Pool room closed but wonderful big breakfast

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the last year or two... There has been a decline in service. Room was stocked with shampoo and condition and one bar of soap. For over $140 a night, one would think there would be body wash and lotion as well. Bathroom in 103 was not cleaned well. Hair was left in the drain from the previous tenants and tile had that nasty orange film from not being cleaned correctly. Not to mention the tile was coming off the wall. For a 4 day stay room was only offered to be cleaned once and we declined. There wasn't a microwave in the room which was listed in room details at booking. The parking lot is not well lit and kinda scary at night.

We stayed here for 1 night & one thing I do want to say is don’t come here if you DONT a good nights sleep. All night there was little kids in the room next to us. Being loud and disrupting the peace. We called the front desk to put in a complaint. They said they were going to take care of it & it was resolved for a little bit & then we had to listen to them again. Nothing was done to fix the situation. A little while later. We had to evacuate the hotel due to some little kids pulling the fire alarm @4 in the morning. We didn’t get back into our rooms until 5:20 in the morning. During that time there was no receptionist anywhere to be found. As we tried to get back into our hotel rooms and couldn’t. They were working. The receptionist look like every other person staying there. You can’t distinguish if they work there or not. So very confusing. All and all I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are still dirty and smell like feet, dust, & sweat. Towels everywhere in the hallway & even in the elevators.

The hotel was very dirty. The elevator buttons were held together by packing tape on our floor. Our room was very dirty upon arrival, the carpet had not been vacuumed in probably a long time. Not only was there crumbs all over, but the corners were packed with fuzzies and crumbs as well. The shower curtain had dark makeup lines on it, indicating that it had not been changed from the last person. The hotel ran out of coffee at breakfast, I asked if she could make me some from behind the counter but was told I would be charged and that I had free coffee in my room. We will not be back to this hotel, which is a shame because we do frequent the area for concerts and shopping.

The pool was closed the whole time we were there. That was the main reason I chose that location. My son was very upset that he wasn't able to swim. And they didn't try to accommodate us at all for the inconvenience. Seeing my son in tears at a supposed fun day out is not what is expected from Hyatt hotels.

Room was really nice and big. Nice layout, and clean. Pool was off limits for repair. Employees friendly, but busy in their phones.
