Quite spot and I could have my dog with no charge extra

They didn’t have blankets and it’s March! The place was a mess! The person behind the desk was inconsiderate and incompetent. Toilet didn’t flush and water all over the floor. We left immediately and was not issued a refund. The f you want to sleep next to “business women” and a “private pharmacy” go ahead and get stay at this dilapidated manure heap!

The building looked run down, and the tub/shower had a crack in the floor of it..the water dripped all night..the parking lot was in bad shape..and the sign did not light up at night, so if was hard to see where you turn in at

Floor was not very good condition had bugs in room the heat was working the first day i checked in .

The property needs to be cleaned up.

There is nothing that will ever make us stay there. Dirty, unmaintained. Door was not able to completely locked and secured. Multiple cigarette burns on most surfaces. It smelled of sewage and nicotine. Mini fridge did not work at all and there were multiple vertical lines burned into the tv screen.

1 st room still had dirty towels and bathroom light didn’t work asked desk to clean room was told it was ended up moving to another room door had been broken into over all would not recommend to people I don’t like the front desk help was very mean and was at my door at 10:15 to tell me it was time to check out

Dirty room

The floor boards in my room are not nailed to the floor and they create a tripping hazard. The room was clean for the most part, but the room needs to be in better condition and it needs to have more amenities in the room.

stained filthy bathtub, hole bathroom door, flooring missing and or peeling, stains on bed cover, not throughly cleaned and desk and bedroom dresser broken . Not 1 chair in the whole room

Check in was horrible I did not want my card to be charged until I was checking out and I was not told anything different. We waited 20 minutes For 4 other people to check in at 3 o'clock, the entire procedure was not explained very well at all. I noticed a big hole in the ceiling above the tub area.Then the last straw was seeing a bug(Roach!) crawling up the wall! I demanded to have my money return to my card and allow us to leave immediately!

Room was not clean ,had a funny smell,no toilet paper,floor and walls were damaged. Door looked like someone had used a crowbar to break in, could literally see into room from door lock.

It was duty. The toilet had a layer of black stain. And the beds and pillows were not comfortable. They said that the reason was they were under a new ownership and renovations.

I travel frequently and am not fussy. However, this place is GROSS. I saw cockroaches crawling over the night stand and sink area, floors were nasty, there were 2 holes in the bathroom door that had been covered with pieces of notebook paper and tape, a hole in the wall next to the bed, it smelled, one bedspread was stained (2nd bed was okay), and it was so drafty I stuffed towels around the door and still had to wear extra clothes to keep warm. I am leaving my first-ever 1 star review. Do not stay here-this place needs to be demolished!

Toilet was not properly seated so it rocked back and forth on floor when you sat on it. Lots of trash all over parking lot and two big overflowing trash cans right outside door to room. Room was very dark. Killed a cockroach. Bed was decent although it had no headboard of any kind and was just leaned up against a wall that had tape and stuff on it. Didn't expect much for price of room but certainly did expect a bit more than we got.

First we no heat in the room! Then we had to pack up and move to another room. Stuff is falling apart, the matresses were well used to the point you sank in. Was not comfortable!

This place should be condemned. This be removed from your wed site. I would not stay here if it was free. Everything was out order. No remote for the tv, smoke alarm chirping. They had to remove it to get it stop. Dump!!

There were cockroaches in the bathtub and dead smashed bugs on the wall. There was gunk on the refrigerator door handle. Disgusting, do not recommend!

After stepping in the shower moments, after arriving.... I killed two bugs on the corner of the shower wall.... I noticed little black tiny eyelashes on two of the pillows on the beds.... We booked a room with two queens and we got a room with two double beds.... I called the front desk and asked for new pillows. He brought down two bigger pillows with nothing dirty on the pillow case and said he was sorry.... After we turned off most of the lights to go to bed, I moved a chair to plug in a fan and a large spider was on the wall and went under the baseboard unreachable to kill the spider. There are no soaps, no shampoos provided in our room... The bedspread looks very fancy on the website.... All it was was a white blanket when arriving.... I booked two queens... We have two doubles.... ... Mattress is very used. All there is is a thin fitted sheet over the top of a very dirty mattress... One of the pillow cases has a cigarette hole burn in it. Unacceptable.... Very disappointed. Will not book again through Motel 6... I thought motel 6 was better than this... Even with taxes, it's almost $100 a night in St. Joseph, Missouri. The parking lot is virtually empty..... Why we did not get two queens is more than I know ✔️. Ridiculous and I am ashamed of falling for it. . We just took a picture of a big bug on the wall and it was identified as a German cockroach... We are checking out and reporting this to Expedia...

Spent 45 mins trying to find me a room, either under construction or not cleaned or smelled like smoke!

Do not go here! I did not stay! Trying to get a refund. Dirty damaged room with bugs and stains on mattress. Holes in doors, drawerss with fronts ripped off. . Terrible. Did not stay, need refund!!!

I did not stay. After seeing the property, and having an issue with a required cash deposit for pets not stated during booking, I refused to stay. There were several men just hanging around the inside and outside the entrance. It didn’t feel safe at all.

Tv was broken. No shampoo.

Place was a POS.....Condition in the property is not clean, then had a drain that was stopped up in the shower..Changed room and the condition was the same. just put up with it but never will again.

I’m sorry I don’t usually leave a bad review but don’t stay here. The facilities are not kept up on the outside. The room was mostly clean. The door had been patched many times due to changing locks? The curtains were stained. The bed was fine but the furniture was old and in disrepair. I would not recommend this place to stay.

There were roaches in the room.

There was no remote to the television. Not all the lights worked. There was roaches. The a/c was in terrible condition. Definitely won’t be back.

When checking in both of our cards were declined in their machine, both ladies just say denied. No courtesy, no admission that there card reader was faulty. Thank goodness we had cash. I don't expect much from a Motel 6 and I'm not picky. Maybe it was a cultural thing, but a thank you or im sorry would have been nice.
