The hotel is old . The parking lot is scary. There were no wash clothes. Key did not work 2nd day. Spider in bathroom. Could not take shower because it was dangerous

You should consider removing this hotel from your list -- not up to standards of hotels.com we have come to expect. The breakfast advertised was scant (no yogurt, no cereal, no eggs -- only waffle-making, pkg'd pastry and toast). There was no coffee maker in the room. The hotel's exterior was shabby, given the neighborhood in San Marcos.

Stay was ok, a lot of traffic noice BUT it’s next to the freeway so I get that, bed surprisingly was comfortable, everything was aged looking. What concerned me was when we went done for their continental breakfast, they was a trail of ants on the counter tops, we informed front desk, he cane around, got a rag, swiped once on the counter top and left. The trail of ants was still there that lead to the ground not sure where it ended but we didn’t stay to have breakfast there.

Room was a decent size for the most part clean but the floors did seem oddly sticky. The walls are a bit thin in terms of hearing other guests as well and the breakfast was just some donuts and coffee.

2 Day stay, great location. Breakfast was same both days. Waffles and danish coffee.
More like a sweet snack. The Coffee was good. The building is old. Rooms were clean. Bed was not comfortable. For a quick stay this hotel is great.

Very close to the roads in which it create so much noise. Old carpets but clean and organized bathroom. Staff are respectful. Free breakfast is not bad.
Overall its ok. We are budget travelers as such for the price of one night, its bearable.
I can't and won't complain. If i earn more I would have preferred a better one than this Days

The TV did not work. But the window aircon was not so loud when the thermostat switches on/off.

Staff was friendly and attentive!! Room had a wet floor from bathroom into closet… had been there for awhile. Had to kill a few spiders then clean the water…staff was attentive waiting on hotel for compensation

Nice people, guests were quiet, staff was quick and friendly. Breakfast was minimal (waffles, wrapped Danishes), and building was tired/neighboring businessesa bit crusty.

The area around the hotel is commercial -- it is across from Home Depot. A good buy for the money; not fancy but spotless with friendly staff.

Shower was difficult to operate & Hotel is next to a freeway kind of loud. At night trying to concentrate. Breakfast was average few items only. a/c unit loud kept us awake all night.

The hallway carpet was pretty dirty, but the room was very clean. I would have loved a hard-boiled egg included in the breakfast items. The people were super friendly and it was conveniently located.

There were strange people coming in and out all night and hanging out in the hallways. Very noisy. Felt unsafe. We ended up finding another hotel and left our first night.

Basic motel property with updated, clean rooms and great AC. Property is nicely maintained. A McDonalds and two mexican restaurants nearby. Hotel provided complimentary breakfast and staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk/manager Alex is very courteous, efficient, always smiling, and made check-in a breeze.

The property was sketchy due to it being open to the public and several markets and business around. It felt like there was quite of bit a foot traffic throughout the parking lot all night. People were drinking and smoking marijuana in the parking lot in between the buildings.
Rooms were extremely basic and a/c kept shutting off every 4 minutes throughout the night.

Room was great, perfect for my needs. Front desk staff was very accommodating to whatever was needed. I would stay there again.
