NICE LOCATION, BUT THE CONDITION UNFORTUNATLY WAS DATED. NEEDS UPGRADING TO MAKE IT WORTH GOING THERE AGAIN.

Just finished a stay here. Let me first say the front desk and staff were WONDERFUL and super friendly. However, the property and cleanliness were TERRIBLE. The hotel is super dated and you can tell it is in desperate need of updating. Also, it needs to be cleaned MUCH better. We found a Bandaid in the shower along with mold. The AC unit wasn’t working properly. The response from the manager was basically too bad. We would not stay here again.

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and loved our stay at the hotel.

Very clean the pet fee was to hi $50.00

We loved our stay, we booked a lakeside view which was so worth it. The room had a huge comfty chair to look at the lake. The visitor center is great and just a short short walk away.

No towels in the “pool” area. Check in went ok. Nothing special about the hotel. Area is ok. On lake but room Faced parking lot even though there were just a dozen cars.

The hotel is pretty nice. At first glance, it looks fantastic, but once you’re on your room for a bit, you start noticing little things that the could improve. Cords were hanging down from behind the tv, the shower has rust in a lot of spots, the faucet in the bathroom leaks a little when it’s on. Otherwise, the bed is comfy and the view of the lake is spectacular.

No soap in the sink or shower dispensers. Text that woke us up at 8 am to allow us to check out online and wanted to no when we were leaving (such hospitality!), and restaurant food and bar not good. Serving a very dirty martini when we just asked for very dry is bad enough. Serving essentially the same thing the second time when we suggested just vodka on the rocks is crazy. The "flatbread" was the quality of a pretty bad frozen pizza. The setting is great--right on Seneca Lake, and the people were nice, so I ate to review it harshly. But waking up to no soap anywhere in the bathroom is pretty bad all by itself. And when we mentioned these things at the front desk we got a curt "noted" from the manager--no apologies.

Morning manager couldn’t remember to keep replacing coffee cups at coffee station or hot water. Spent ten minutes petting a guest’s dog the refused to wash her hands before handing the coffee station again and cursed at me for insisting. Upon check in I found garbage behind the drapes in my room and indoor pool was very small and dirty with ten people playing ball inside it. Yuk

The front desk staff was great especially Stella.

The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views and easy walking distance to downtown Geneva

Wyndham website stated daily housekeeping, but only provided every 3 days. Had to request clean towels and last day only had 1 clean towel available. Front desk staff did not ask if we needed anything or when checked out did not ask how our stay was. Location on Lake was nice. Breakfast available in hotel was expensive. Will not return.

The amount of seagull feather and poop all over the outside was ridiculous. The bar area was always closed. I will not be staying here again. .

Beautiful scenery, walkable, on the water and close to town. So many things to do, polite staff.

Nice restaurant, easy access House keeping did not provide any service daily without requesting; when they did - no towels were provided; air in room was not good, too many allergens.

My wife and I stayed at this property in July 2024 to celebrate an anniversary, and we booked a waterfront jacuzzi suite. Negatives: - Room was mostly clean, but two cleanliness issues were the drain in the jacuzzi tub (gross). We did not use it at all. - The shower wasn’t sealed. Water backed up all over the bathroom floor outside the shower, soaking the towel. - We arrived almost two hours after check in time, and our room was still not ready. We sat in the lobby for 45 minutes waiting before we were able to get access. - Did not have soap in the room. I requested it the evening we checked in, and was told it would be taken care of. The next morning, we still had no soap and I needed to call the front desk twice to get it. Positives: - Nearly every staff member we interacted with was friendly and eager to help. - Outside of a couple bedroom issues, the property was clean and well tended to - The view of Seneca lake is exceptional - Great on-site restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area - Bed was quite comfortable - Free coffee in hotel lobby in the morning was tasty Summary: Overall, it’s a nice property, but the issues we experienced would give me pause to stay again. Especially given the price we paid for the suite. When you pay a premium price, you expect a premium experience. My wife and I left a bit disappointed.

The room was just okay. We had a king bed with twin size pillows first night there found the shower would not drain due a huge ball of black hair same with the sink. The airconditioner had nor directional vent so it blew the air directly at the bed. We also found food in one of thr drawrer. The "swimming" was basically a converted hot tub that was on 3 foot 10 inches deep. We also found bugs coming out of the wall in the bathroom. Lastly house keeping only cha ged the towels. Never cleaned the bathroom.

A clean and comfortable hotel with great views of the lake (if you paid for a room on that side). A/C didnt work in the first room we were given but staff responded well and moved us. The area was very quiet.

2nd time here and I’ll be back

The check-in took way too long. There was only one attendant working behind the desk on a Friday with several people waiting to check in and it was already after 4 PM. Our room wasn’t as clean as it should have, there was no TV remote, there were no toiletries, and there were only two towels. No one came to clean the room nor did anyone asked if we needed anything the entire weekend. The coffee station in the lobby did not have any coffee both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The worst part for me was Friday night. I came back to the room by myself and my key did not work. A gentleman that was speaking to the attendant in the lobby, saw me and came right over. He used a white bracelet he was wearing to unlock and push the door open for me. He did not tell me his name nor who he was nor was he wearing a uniform or an ID. I freaked out and called my partner to come over immediately. The next morning we told the front desk attendant and all we got was “oh yeah, he works here, our apologies ”. This was unacceptable considering I was worried and didn’t sleep. We paid almost $1,000.00 for a room with a parking lot view to put up with zero amenities, safety concerns and below standard customer service so we left very upset and super disappointed.

The lakefront view was spectacular.

The outside of the property was nice. The inside was not. The room was dirty, smelled like an old hotel. Mold on the ceiling in the ice machine room. Carpet in room was disgusting. The mystery containers of soap, etc were nasty! Went out to purchase our own soap. Mirror was dirty and windows to the lake view were dirty. A bad experience all the way around. The ONLY thing that saved my wifes's birthday get away was the lake view! I would never stay there again. We've stayed at the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen and Clayton, NY and thought this was going to be similar but it was FAR FAR from it.
