We stayed here for 5 nights, and had a wonderful time. All of the staff at the Brooks Hotel were amazing! Any question we had was answered with enthusiasm and we definitely will recommend this hotel, if you're staying in Dublin. A special shoutout to Connor, the man who helped us the most. He was incredible, and we thoroughly enjoyed his kindness and info about the area.

Great location, excellent breakfast

Friendly staff. Excellent central location next to shopping and pubs. Lots of activity but surprisingly quiet at night. Room was cozy. Comfortable bed. Great continental breakfast with a variety of choices.

Upon arrival, front desk said there was complimentary coffee in the dining room yet we were charged 6 euro for 2 cups. Nice hotel with a great location.

Only stayed one night and it was coming off a red eye flight. Check in is at 3PM, we arrived at 6AM. The staff called us early when the room was ready in case we wanted to turn in early. That was nice. I didn’t, but it was thoughtful. No complaint on staff. Hotel room was clean but hasn’t seen renovations in a while. Could probably just use a little sprucing up but my main concern is cleanliness; I was good with the room. It’s in the heart of the city and that’s why you’re there. Parking garage is right across the street. Very tight in there as is everything in Ireland but surprisingly tight. Parking was super expensive. If you leave and come back, you get nailed each time. I think I paid about $60 in parking for one night. Area around; it’s a city but they take pride in it- clean, felt safe. Saw only one homeless guy begging for money.

Fabulous place for the price

I’ve stayed at Brooks Hotel in the past and it is in a great location. Service wasn’t great this time which was a shame. I’d specifically reserved a twin room and this was confirmed again on check in but when we got to the room it was a double so had to return to reception and get this resolved. Whilst it was resolved it really shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I thought the room was quite tired and needs to be freshened up - the lack of power sockets was poor (there weren’t even any next to the beds) and really needs to be reviewed. The bar was nice and service was good and the man that took our bags to store for us when we arrived was great - I can’t remember his name but he’d worked there for over 20 years.

Would definitely use again

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. Room was very comfortable. Some street noise from pubs in the area.

I think the staff could have handled the check in better. We were told 3pm check in when we rwached the hotel at about 1.30pm. Ok, fine. We came back about 2.45pm. Still no room and was told 3pm. 2pm came and the respinse was check in us from 3pm onwards. That was very unprofessional. We dod get our room at 3.10pm. But process coyld have been handled nore professionally.

Awesome location, services and access to restaurants and bars.

Very noisy most of the day and night with loud music, partying and yelling on the street-asked for higher floor or not directly on street but was told none available and that the windows were such that they would block noise-absolutely not the case-when I checked online moments later there were rooms available so very disappointed that after the initial front desk person spoke to her boss and then he spoke to his boss there was no assistance in this regard. Provided with little toilet paper and limited towels-bath equipment in hair dryer on wall from 1970s. Will never stay or recommend in the future.

The hotel was first class from the porter to the desk staff to cleaners. This is in addition to the great location of the hotel to the Dublin Castle, Trinity College for the Book of Kells Experience, Marsh's Library & St Patrick's Cathedral, and so many restaurants between all of them. My wife and I walked everywhere all week without ever being far from the hotel.

Lovely hotel, perfect location in the city centre .. very nice room, old style but very clean and comfortable .. nice big bed and spacious bathroom .. all the staff were excellent too .. definitely recommend !

Close to everything

Only some of our luggage was delivered to our room that they were holding. They quickly found it, though.

Super convenient, stepped off the train and literally around the corener. Central to everything, and view overlooking the park was nice. Staff were great, and helpful in arranging daytrips. The hotel was very clean, and well appointed.

The Brooks is a nice hotel with a great location. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but everything was clean and the service was great!
