I was very pleasantly surprised with the staff friendliness, the room was exceptionally clean and had everything I needed. The bed was also comfortable which I find unusual in a cheaper hotel. Would definitely stay at again. And there is a nice pub/restaurant at the end of the carpark serving carvery and pub grub. The breakfast was good and included in the price too

Good hotel , clean with good breakfast & friendly staff . Traffic noise is an issue . A room facing away from the road would be quieter.

The staff were very friendly and very very helpful. It was a very busy breakfast time and they found us a table in a seperate room due to it being so busy but even offered to collect us breakfast as soon as more was available. They couldnt help enough. Thank you so much!

The air con/heating didn’t work in our room, breakfast was absolute carnage! It was a free for all, there was no plates, no cutlery, the coffee machine was only dispensing black coffee despite it advertising lattes mocha hot chocolate etc, the milk had ran out, there was a wait for food, sausages, has browns, bread, no cups, no glasses, there was just not enough seating or service to accommodate the amount of guests for breakfast, considering what was paid for breakfast this was a poor show. The room however was clean and fairly quiet, the only problem being anytime anyone opened a door in the corridor it rattled our door. The room was clean but other than that there was nothing great about this stay.

Absolute value for money! I was nearly 2 hours early arriving the lady on reception was lovely she sorted me a room straight away to save me waiting around. The bed could easily fit 2 adults and a child in. It’s a very quiet hotel the only noise is from the main road outside which is minimal if your windows are shut.

A very friendly welcome on arrival, very informative and a quick check in. Lovely room, bed & pillows very comfy. A good, varied choice for breakfast.

Room smelt damp.when we areived around 7pm ... When we got back circa 12 30 we felt a wet patch on the floor next to the bathroom. It was too late to point it out or change rooms but its something that should hv been noticed. It may have come.from the A/C unit or the bathriom .. But therebwas a definite damp smell. Also the kitchen staff were not prepared for the amout of.people there for breakfast. They were overwhelmed and un prepared. We actually didn't get the breakfast experience we wanted as everything had run out .. no cups glasses.. plates.. juice ..food.. it appeared as if they were only expecting 20 people. It was so busy the conference room.had to be opened and we had to wait for a table. Not a nice experience as everyone seemed to come down at 9am. Maybe on bank holidays you ciujd extend the breakfast and check.out times to stop this avalanche of people.

Clean and tidy but in need of some maintenence...tap lid broken, shower edge mouldy. But staff lovely if young and inexperienced. No vegan options at breakfast orher than defrosted frozen fruit and baked beans. Had to ask for plant based milk...only soya available. Not sure if the walls are thin or neighboring guests were super noisy, but banging doors, crying babies, and hefty sex noises kept me awake best part if the night. Wouldn't stay there again....and this from someone who's stayed in hundreds of hotels from bucket to swanky

Better than we thought

We were here for the 3 day convention in Dudley. Excellent location, good service and the personnel was so nice to provide breakfast at 6:30 during the weekend as well. This was a great help and much appreciated by many staying this weekend. Very friendly personnel.

We did stopped off here for the night to split a long journey to Devon. Staff where very friendly and helpfull.

Lovely place to stay, great staff.

Room ok, nice toiletries, dove shower gel and shampoo , room clean. small double bed with winter duvet in summer. breakfast poor, stale muffins, rotten apples, cooked breakfast looked like it had been out for days.

Lovely hotel,only problem was shower head would not stay up,so ceiling got most of the water.

Hotel and staff excellent. My only problem was car park security my van window got smashed and broken into along with another two vehicles. All caught on CCTV. Felt really unsafe and I cut my stay after one night.

The staff here were wonderful to we two seniors. Helpful, smiling and nothing was too much trouble as they resolved our questions. Spectacles were left behind in the car as we checked in--no problem they waited. Lovely feeling instead of feeling a nuisance. WELL DONE YOUR STAFF

A/C didn’t work. Hair in bathroom dispenser. Breakfast was free so that’s good but wasn’t the the best quality hot food.
