The rooms were tidy and clean. The hotel staff were helpful, nice and accommodating. The only thing that wasn’t great was the breakfast ordered through room service. It was not a lot of food and it wasn’t worth the amount that I paid for it- it was just okay.

Stayed here for pearl jam concert in Marley pk. Really nice hotel, had food in afternoon in the bar with some drinks and service was friendly and very good. Had room service late at night was basic but fine. Would defo stay again.

Only stayed one night, however our experience here was very satisfactory. We received an upgrade on checking in, had a lovely dinner here and the staff were wonderful.

We were only here one night, but it was nice. Unfortunately, I asked the Main Desk about the Johnnie Fox shuttle (we had booked it already) and no one knew anything about it! Luckily, we went outside by the main road and we did get the bus. Considering the hotel is a stop on the shuttle bus route, I would think the main desk should be informed. Also, the water pressure and temperature in the shower wasn’t great. 😌

It was a pretty nice stay. We stayed outside of Dublin because it cost less and we took the bus into town each day. Our only issue was the hot water pot in our room didn’t work. No a big deal because the coffee was instant so we walked across the street to Circle K.

Liked the cleanliness of the bedroom. And also the menu variety in the bar. Breakfast superb.

Nice big place. Easy parking. Really nice chap on reception - Bala. modern room, massive bed. Large tv. Buzzing bar area. Nice bar staff. Waitress’ not very friendly.

Nice stay and nice room. Bit of noise from work going on overhead made it difficult to work on teams calls at 10am in morning. Staff very nice and overall it was perfect for my overnight stay.

Very nice modern hotel very clean tidy good gym . Nice restaurant tasty but overpriced breakfast . Free parking . Dinner arrived after 5 mins far too hot just come out of the microwave I reckon ang wasn’t that great .

Excellent hotel to stay just a few minutes outside Dublin by bus. If you have a car is perfect as base camp to explore The surrounding attractions besides the city. Will definitely recommend .

Everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was tidy and all the amenities were nice.

I was originally put in a room next to the elevator shaft which made a terrible noise. I requested to be moved and they moved me directly to a room opposite where they were replacing the bathroom suite. They promised me it would be complete by 8pm only to be awoken by them doing work at 11pm due to work that needed doing. I spoke to reception who then moved me again to a different room which thankfully was fine but why they couldn’t move to that room in the first place I don’t know. Why move someone from one room due to the noise to another that was having building work when there was clearly other more suitable rooms available??

Another very comfy nights stay after a day in Beacon. Lovely staff, food and bar/lounge areas are excellent.

The Talbot Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The staff's politeness and attentiveness were remarkable - they were always ready to fulfill any request and ensured my stay was enjoyable and relaxing. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was another plus point – both my room and the public areas were immaculate and well-maintained. The food at the Talbot Hotel was simply delicious. Every meal was a culinary experience, with a variety of dishes to suit every taste. The fitness and sauna facilities were also top-notch. I was able to continue my workout and then relax in the sauna, making my stay at the Talbot Hotel even more enjoyable. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend the Talbot Hotel. It offers everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay – from warm hospitality to cleanliness and top-notch dining and relaxation facilities. I look forward to returning soon!

Perfect for our nights stay in Dublin to visit hospital. A little dated but liked thar! Lovely staff , great value in restaurant and good food. Nice comfy bed and great shower. Free parking was good . Nice quiet location . Would def choose again

Wonderfully comfortable overnight thanks to very kind and welcoming gentleman at reception, who sorted my room. Lovely meal in bistro, again manager found us a quiet table. Waiting staff very helpful and prompt. Allover a very good experience. Hotel very convenient 4 city as well as Dun Laoire, great choice on bus route as well as ample parking. Thank you very much.

7th time staying here this month and still cannot complain about ANYTHING. We checked in last night around 9pm in less than 2mins and check out is not until 12. Free parking is a godsend as we have to pay e17/day in Beacon hospital carpark. Ambiance in Restaurant/Bar is lovely as are ALL Staff members. Food is excellent. Thanks again

Unreal, very very accomodating to us. We had to be close to Beacon hospital so this was perfect , 10m drive, we booked a Room day by day and they let us stay in the same room over 4 days without the need to check out/in etc which was great. Front of staff and behind doors staff were so helpful. Food was Fab in am and evening, lovely athmosphere and comfy surroundings. Also lots of free parking

This hotel is FANTASTIC, ALL the staff were amazing from Reception to Chamber Lady to Restaurant/Bar. Spotlessly clean, Standard double room was very big with tea/coffee, beautiful bathroom, extra pillows. We had booked 1 night as we had to be in Beacon Hospital which is only 10m drive, FREE PARKING and plenty of it. We booked a 2nd night the following day and then a 3rd night and they very nicely accomodated us and let us stay in the same room which was a Godsend. BREAKFAST was plentiful and filling. WE WILL DEFINITELY recommend this HOTEL to everyone.
