Mold in the bathroom, stains on the curtains, worn out furniture. Not what you expect from a ‘premium’ room for over 300EUR a night. (!) This is totally unacceptable and a shame for the hotel business. Apart from the lobby and restaurant this hotel is outdated and worn out. Website pictures do not represent the rooms. Front-Office apologised and confirmed the issue but says it’s up to central Crown Plaza Management who must deal with refurbishments. Got one breakfast for free as compensation. Positive: staff friendliness and hospitality: they ‘save’ this hotel. Location is good as well as breakfast.

Nice hotel, good location however check in procedure was a little bit convoluted as we were charged twice by mistake, this mistake was fixed soon after.

Arrived after full day travel to be told Hôtel car park is out of service and given map of nearest car park 10 minute drive away. Could of received information in advance

A very standard business hotel. Everything was fine, except that the room was next to the elevator and quite noisy. Great location, and very helpful staff!

It was an excellent stay at the Crown Plaza hotel. Location was superb. Walkable distance to all the major sites of interest and public transport. Well maintained and helpful staff.

Very high price. parking was a disaster. Instructions on how to get to their parking agar were wrong and led us into dangerous traffic situations.
Glasses in room were dirty.
Bed cover (comforter) was too short.

The room was not cleaned properly. Found previous occupants prescription pills, carpet was dirty. Requested & changed our own bed linen as housekeeping failed to service our room. Room aircon barely made a difference in the heat. No towels in the bathroom, had to ask. The bar & kitchen staff were not attentive, waited over an hour for an order, cancelled & went to eat elsewhere. It’s a disgrace cause we have stayed here before. The only good thing that the hotel has is its location.

Nice property in general, but older building. Our room curtains were not clean initially and had small spiders in them. Told the front desk and housekeeping came to try clean. But only used a broom, not a vacuum. Could have been better cleaned, especially after complaining. But other than that, all else was good. Location was nice, could walk to the train station. Loved Maastricht!

First the good: location is great - right on the edge of the river. Excellent buffet breakfast which was the only meal we ate in hotel. Staff were very pleasant.
The bad? We booked the junior suite for our family of 4 and thought the listed queen size beds were actually full size beds. Great for intimacy but maybe not if youre sharing the room with your teenage kids. Parking wasn’t that easy either - the main garage entrance was broken and we had a bit of an adventure trying to find the other entrance weaving through some very narrow alleys before finally figuring out the right way to go.
Overall good central location but we’ll see what other options available next time were in town

Very disappointed in this hotel, service in both the lounge bar and dining room was terrible. Made a dinner reservation and was seated without menus or drink orders, left after waiting 30 minutes. We were ignored in the lounge bar after ordering drinks, finally served after complaining to the manager. Overall the hotel was very dated and tired. Curtains in our room was hanging off the rail. Cheap plastic cups in the bathroom and no glasses in the room. I definitely would not recommend this Hotel .

The room was clean, and really spacious, it had everything and more. The personell was very nice, and the location ist just awesome. The only thing: You have to pay parking extra. I did not know that before.

A great location for visiting Maastricht, particularly if you have a car as they have a secure car park.
A family room was ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good breakfast and able to eat late.
English tourists won’t have any TV options to keep the kids entertained, so be prepared in advance.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and service. There was four of us and we kept getting only two towels and two bottles of water. We asked for the room to be cleaned every day and only the bare minimum was done and my sons could do a better job with making the beds. However, the food at the bar and the service there was great.

There was construction taking place at the hotel and they put me in the room directly beside the demolition. It was so loud the gentleman at the front desk could not hear me on the phone. Their idea of solving the problem was to move me the next day, charge me full price for that room and NOT charge me for the new room that was a slight upgrade. Really...???

the window frames are not properly insulated and get extremely cold and collect condensation dye to warm temperare inside. this could cause mold in the long run.

The hotel was in a lovely location along the river and just a short walk from the station. The room was a generous size.
