Met for a girls weekend and stayed one night. Staff were amazing and really helpful, breakfast was lovely and well stocked with cold and warm buffet.
Only slight disappointment was the parking charge of £9 per night, which is also applicable to blue badge holders! …. Pretty hefty considering we were paying guests. Due to our number and the number of rooms we had booked, this was negotiated and the hotel staff were really obliging after we queried.
Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

Great hotel in Salisbury. Short walk to downtown area and the cathedral. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Staff was friendly. Room was spacious and clean.
3.0
Great hotel. Perfect location, environment, breakfast, service.
5.0
Newly refurbished property with excellent facilities and close to all attractions and transport links. Staff friendly, polite and very helpful.
Breakfast was of a high quality with a decent choice of options.
For the price - what’s not to like ! Would recommend.
2.5
Fabulous break. Food was amazing and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Room was huge with a lovely walk in shower. Good value for money with a scrummy breakfast.
2.5
Lovely hotel in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel rather than the old part. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was modern and clean. Limited parking on a first come first served basis, so a bit of a lottery whether you can get a space. And if you do get a space it’s not reserved if you come and go in your car during the day. Competitively priced as Premier Inn was same price for the weekend we were staying (£150+).
4.0
Very pleasant hotel just outside the city centre.

Excellent service . Everyone is trying their best. Hotel itself is clean, large rooms, excellent location. 10 min flat walk to the city. Dinner was great so as cooked breakfast.

The Milford is a great option in Salisbury, the staff was great and the rooms were comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here if your in town
2.5
Perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good value for money

No Wi-Fi connection despite it being advertised in the itinery. Shower didn’t work so we couldn’t shower. Property not responding to our emails asking about these issues.

Construction was ongoing so i really am not able to comment. Staff was friendly and my stay was ok. They were updating which means improvement is on the way.

Great for the value

Very nice visit.

The hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment at present. (Our room was beautiful.) So any comment on the property condition and surrounding area would not be a true representation of how they will be when the refurbishment are complete. We had stayed here last year and were very pleased.
4.0
The hotel is currently being renovated so different areas of the hotel were unaccessible. That being said, what was available was very nice and very well organised. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. The breakfast options were great and had a variety of food to please all. The car park was £9 a night which seemed a little steep, however there is little to no parking elsewhere near to the hotel so it is necessary. Overall we had a lovely stay a Milford Hall and would definitely stay again!

The place was being refurbished- strangely the bedroom may have been done but old furniture placed in it left one feeling under welcomed. The bar/dinning room & reception were all in room with no windows - i think they would have been better to close it until they finished

We were excited about a special trip to Salisbury to celebrate a special occassion. After seeing online pictures of the hotel, we couldn’t wait to arrive.
The online photo’s made it look spectacular and the idea of a soak in the tub as seen online was too good to be true. Instead, we arrived at a building site. The hotel was having a full refurbishment and yet we hadn’t been informed of this disruption.
We stayed for 2 nights and each morning we were woken early to the sound of workmen. Needless to say, it was not a positive experience. We felt slightly cheated

Room wasn’t great

All was fine, allowing for the building and scaffolding
5.0
Stayed here many times before, even though they are renovating at the moment the service and staff were superb as always
3.0
Place is under refurbishment so unfair to give an assessment. Only disappointing thing was that we were not informed that there was no bar or restaurant before we arrived, so had to go elsewhere for dining, very annoying and inconvenient.
5.0
We had a lovely stay here= the staff and breakfast was excellent! The lower starts are only because the hotel is undergoing a refurb and so a lot of facilities weren't available and the outside didn't look the best due to plant/barriers etc. This will be temporary and I think will be great when all done! We were warned of the refurb atthe time of booking. Would definitely rebook!

Property is under going renovation - it’s a little shabby. It was clean, staff helpful, but noise outside room and from room above.

Parking was an extra £9 hidden cost - a lot of repairs going on in the hotel - night porter Frank a true gent -

Great place to stay, £9 parking really? Place is going thru referb which did not distract from stay but not mentioned on website.

Hotel in good position, friendly staff but the room was freezing! I was so cold I had to sleep in the bath robe provided

A little tired in areas but our room was lovely and the old part of the house beautiful.

Rooms and hotel in process of being updated. Good stay though and be nice to see upgrades when done.

The pros
-Duty manager gave us a 30% refund and a bottle of red wine.
-Supportive staff.
-TV in room had all the apps you’d imagine on a modern LED TV. We ended up watching Netflix ;).
Breakfast was cheap and of a good standard.
The cons
-The hotel is quite dated.
-Heater is on a timer, so when we checked in, it was a cold and damp room.
-wall mounted temporary electrical heater sounded like a jet taking off and made the walls vibrate when on.
-Hot water for bath and shower wasn’t really a thing. But hot enough in the sink.
I felt that the price charged for the room isn’t realistic. It felt very much like a budget motel although photos would have you believe otherwise. It was cold and damp. So much so that I went to the front desk and made a complaint. The duty manager came to my room after 5 min and offered a refund and a bottle of wine which was very kind and appreciated!
Manager explained that the rooms were being upgraded. I just felt a tad cheated as I booked this hotel due to its proximity to Salisbury town and based on the photographs. This is either a hotels.con issue or honesty of the hotels as this has happened a few times now.
Would I stay at this hotel again - no, however, if the rooms were upgraded then I would based on the staff and proximity.
2.0
The location was brilliant for the town.
We had no toilet roll in the rooms.
The staff seemed immature and didnt really know how to handle the hotel - ie quoted wrong prices for breakfast and were asked 3 times to bring milk to room and they still forgot. We had a baby (they knew, as cot requested) but they put us on the top floor with no lift and nowhere to store buggy. The hairdryer almost caught fire and there was a large party in the hotel until the early hours with DJ music playing. I would not recommend this hotel.

excellent service, lovely breakfast, nothing was to much trouble, recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and close to town. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was helpful with all our questions.

The only room they had available for us smelled like mildew, had peeling wallpaper, potentially dirty sheets, and mold in the shower. After I asked for another room, the receptionist told us they had another room that normally reserved for staff sleeping quarters, but the window didn't close. So at 12:30 AM (after we arrived around 11:30 PM), he and I are in that room attempting to get the window closed enough to latch. We managed to latch it, so my wife and I could just go to sleep. In the morning, maintenance knocked on our door at 8 AM. Evidently not getting the message that the room had been booked with a paying guest. They were doing construction while we were there and I'm willing to forgive that mess, but we will never go back. I asked the receptionists upon check out about the bill, hoping they might knock a few pounds off for our trouble and they told me I didn't owe any additional money for staying in the "suite." Gee, thanks. I certainly hope I wouldn't be charged for fixing your broken window. The manager was supposed to call me and follow up but I haven't heard a peep.
2.5
I had a great stay and it was a perfect base to explore from.
1.5
Booked hotel due to advertised Gym and spa facilities. Both gym/spa are closed EVERY evening between 6pm-9pm, so no good for anyone working. Very disappointing.
