Hotel needs a serious makeover. I was happy it allowed pets, but I would likely not stay there again. All of the doors in my section looked as if the cleaning people rammed the cart across the doors to open them and keep them open. The interior rooms were of average cleanliness, but it didn't smell like animals, which I was happy about. Staff seemed a bit detached from doing their work. The breakfast had less offerings than we have ever experienced in a hotel. Waffles, a few pieces of fruit, some cereal and yogurt. No pastries or toast or bagels that we saw. It was just mediocre

Very disappointed - all pet friendly rooms were on the 3rd floor - that is not smart as we have to take pets outside and we have to come down 3 flights of stairs or use the elevators. Anyone with any sense puts pet rooms on first floor near an exit. This is the first time we have experienced this and were quite disappointed. They won - we will never stay there again!

Upon check in, clerk(who had only been there 7 months) was friendly , have me rm cards. When we tried entering sidedoors, card did not work nor was there any signage about being locked. We went to front desk and he said they always lock side doors and cards wont open it. Have never been to hotel where these doors were locked. Asked why he didn't tell me that upon check in and he said they don't. Husband said it would be helpful if he did inform us.
As we waited for elevator , clerk said we were disrespectful. As we got off elevator on 3rd floor, clerk was there to notify us we had to leave. We asked why and he said he does not tolerate disrespectful people. But he was dropping f bombs etc. right and left acting like he owned the place. We asked again what we had done, he just said we were disrespectful, asked us to leave, eventually called police due to our not leaving, just because we wanted to know what we had done. Never did get answer as to what we had done.

The rooms need updated more, they need professional updating. And our room smelled like weed, so we moved rooms, but hallways smelled too. So maybe better ventilation.

When we arrived, the pool was not working. They said it would work the next day.It still was not working. We had to switch rooms two times before we got a room that was okay to stay in. The first room smelled like urine. The second room, the air conditioning was leaking.All over the floor and making the puddle

The room was so humid, you walk on a wet floor pretty much. The ac is loud but doesn't do job at all. There was only hand towels and no large ones, i had to use small ones after shower.

Not many great hotels in Richmond, it’s a college town so there’s a lot of apartments not hotels. (Do NOT go to Comfort Suites in Richmond, they have a roach problem and the employees start acting angry the second you walk in.) Manager very nice they also allow pets. Run down a bit but still the best Richmond has to offer.

The motel its self was clean quite and very nice everything was as displayed in the photos the gentlemen that was on nightshift when we checked in was very polite and helpful when check out time arrived i went down to try and rent the room again the woman working behind the counter was extremely rude and very short as i was leaving the motel i tried to purchase to soft drinks she rudely told me the price as i went to use my card to pay she told me cash only i told her that i had purchased two drinks when i checked in and paid with my card and she processed to tell me that never happened i responded by trying to explain to her it did happen and she rudely told me impossible and that she didnt have time for this crap i enjoyed the stay there but the woman working the counter that morning was extremely rude and not very professional at all

With check in, rm 108 smelled so badly of smoke and mildew, we had to change rooms. Second room, 208, only slightly better. Too tired at 930p to change hotels, or we would've.... Will be my last visit here.

The only issue I ran into was that my booking was for about $100, but when I checked in, they ended up charging me $180, due to a price hike for a special event. BUT, the front desk guy was super sweet and respectful and worked to get me a refund for the difference. I wish I could remember his name, but was awesome :-) The room was really nice and seemed clean. Would def stay here again.

Justin at check in was awesome, he was nice & professional very welcoming.. The room was clean & comfortable. The lamp on the wall didn't work & the fridge didn't get real cold but everything was compatible for our nights stay. Housekeepers was nice & helped me with my older dog, while I took my very hyper pup to the car, When your in need of somewhere good to stay while in Richmond ky this red roof is great . My #1 pick.. Thank you all awesome job! 5 *'s

Room conjoined to our had a kid in lock anyone could access our room! Got a non smoking room and everything smelled like cigarettes. Booked for 3 nights only stayed 1 and moved over to the Quality Inn
