We loved our stay at this property! The owner, Callie, was super friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect; it was far enough out of the city for a quiet, charming neighbor stay but close enough to restaurants and public transportation making it easy to get anywhere in the city. The property itself is so charming! Very clean, comfortable and spacious for two people. We will be returning to this home on our next trip to San Francisco! We had a wonderful stay at Callie’s home in Hayes Valley. The neighborhood was lovely with numerous eateries and shops within walking distance. We were able to meet Callie while checking in and she was very helpful and accommodating.

I cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this beautiful apartment in a charming and historic four-flat building. It is beautifully appointed, ultra-convenient, and surprisingly quiet considering that it is located on a relatively busy thoroughfare. Callie and I communicated several times during my stay, and the fact that she was overseas did not prevent her from responding quickly, even if my texts to her were only to compliment her taste! This flat was also very competitively priced, certainly a bargain in such an expensive city. Grade: A+

Perfect place to stay in SF for 1-2 people. Apartment was incredibly clean and attractive. Everything was easy to find. Location excellent, you can pretty much walk anywhere you want to be within 30 minutes or be collected quickly by Uber/Lyft. Owner was incredibly accommodating. Will 100% stay here again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Hayes Valley. It was built in 1889 (there is a coffee table book which tells the history of the homes in the area) and has been renovated so as to have all modern updates but also to keep the feeling of the grand old home it once was. Callie was a fantastic host - we had a few questions and she responded right away, and provided a hair dryer when mine went on the fritz. The location is amazing, with a short walk to Alamo Square Park and Hayes Valley with its fabulous shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in San Francisco!

We had an incredible stay while at Callie’s rental for a long weekend in San Fran. Her rental is ideally and conveniently located in an older, picturesque style SF home in Hayes, and only a few blocks walking distance to The Painted Ladies, cafes, restaurants, parks and only short drives to all the other major sites in the city. Parking is first come on the street, but we were fortunate and able to easily locate on the same block. We felt safe and had no concerns for ourselves or personal belongings while staying at Callie’s rental and would easily rebook again for another long weekend in San Fran! Communication with Callie was incredibly helpful, useful and timely that made our stay so much more enjoyable with peace of mind.

Return stay at this Hayes Valley location. Once again, the rental is clean and welcoming. Communication with owner is timely and helpful.

Callie’s place is located in Hayes Valley near cool multiple eateries and shops within a short walking distance. Her place is very comfortable and beautifully decorated with many amenities. The only downside is on street parking. We were fortunate to reserve a weekend which gave us free parking. We would stay here again.

This house was clean, charming, cozy, and central to so many places in San Francisco. The host was very communicative. Would stay again. Recommend :)

We are long term SF residents who recently moved and came back for a visit. Callies apartment is the perfect location and feel for a real SF neighborhood experience. She has an eye for design and her place is full of thoughtfully selected furniture, art, books, antiques, etc. There was a comfy bed, nice shower, stocked kitchen, and everything else we needed for a comfortable stay. She was very communicative whenever we needed something. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the city.

My husband and I are former SF residents who traveled back in March 2021 for a couple of weeks to work remotely and have a change of scenery. We rented this property in our former neighborhood and it felt just like we were home again. The communication was top notch, and we had one very minor issue with the shower which the owner resolved IMMEDIATELY (within an hour). On top of that, the decor and light were absolutely dreamy. I couldn’t recommend this place more - proximity to Alamo Square Park, Hayes Valley, and central to any place you’d want to be!

Amazing location! My wife and I were able to walk to many spots of interest, which helped save money on fares. Property owner was quick in responding to questions and very helpful. Home is very spacious and extremely clean. My wife was especially delighted with the decor! We will definitely try to stay here again when visiting San Francisco!

A beautiful apartment with everything one could need. Super convenient to get everywhere. Parking was amazingly easy, especially if you get a visitor parking permit. The girl and the dog loved the park so nearby.

This home was amazing! The furniture and decor felt warm and welcoming. The kitchen was stocked with beautiful cookware. The owner even left lemonade, soda, beer, and condiments for us to use in the refrigerator. There is one bedroom with comfy linens. The huge walk in closet was a treat. It was nice to not have to live out of a suitcase for a few days. The owner left a helpful binder with information about the house and the neighborhood including restaurant recommendations and things to see. This part of town is accessible to several delicious restaurants and places for coffee/dessert. The home is only two blocks from the famous "Painted Ladies." I enjoyed walking up and down the streets admiring the architecture of every Victorian house. The owner even left a book about the background of each historic house in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed looking up several of the houses nearby. Overall, this was the perfect house and location. I highly recommend staying in this serene, cozy retreat!

My daughter and I loved staying at Callie's for the week. The property is located within walking distance to Japantown, the Hayes Valley Shopping District and Alamo Square. It is also conveniently located by Muni bus lines that take you to downtown as well as many other areas. The property was much larger and more spacious than it appeared in the photos. We loved having a keyless entry, as we didn't need to always remember a key. The apartment was also very clean and equipped with what we needed. Callie, the homeowner, was very gracious and accommodating from the start of the reservation process all the way through the week of our stay. This is an awesome property with a great owner! Thanks again, Callie, for helping us make our stay enjoyable.

We loved staying here. It felt very clean and comfortable. It was very well decorated which made it feel homey. The only issue we had was with street parking but we usually found a place in under 5 minutes and within 4 blocks. We would definitely recommend this place!

Callie's unit is gorgeous! We loved the Victorian details on the outside and in. It is perfectly located, and we spent nearly all of our trip walking around the city pretending to be locals. The owner was great at responding to my messages in a very timely manner, and we even got to meet her and her pup! The kitchen and dining area was my favorite spot in the condo. Traffic noise wasn't bad once the pocket doors were closed for the night, just as Callie shared. We stayed in San Francisco over one of their warmer weeks, and so the condo got warm, especially at night. We opened some windows, and the cross-breeze greatly helped, but did let in some neighbor noise that made us have to shut the windows before sleeping. All-in-all, it was a great location to spend our first visit to San Francisco; thank you, Callie!

This condo is gorgeous with all the amenities you could ever want in your own home. It is very clean, beautifully decorated, well maintained and is owned by a woman who is incredibly sweet, hospitable and has the most adorable dog. The only problem is that you will leave wanting to go home to redecorate and adopt a golden retriever.❤️ Thank you Callie!

This is a beautiful apartment with lovely details. One morning we spent several hours sitting in the sun streaming through the windows and looking at art books. We were very comfortable and the neighborhood is great.

I LOVED staying here. Callie's apartment is adorable and spacious with really high ceilings. She was a fantastic host and meeting up was quite easy. Her apartment is very close to Alamo Square, Hayes Valley, and NoPa. I spent a month in San Francisco staying in various places and Callie's was by far my favorite! It really felt like home. Thanks!

That place was as advertised, and the location was perfect for us. Everything was great, my only recommendation is that a king size bed would make the stay even better as there is room for a king size in the bedroom area. I would happily stay here again.

As advertised the apartment was very clean, well stocked and spacious. Close to Hayes Valley and Divisdero. Owner was very helpful and accessible. Would recommend to anyone interested in getting to know the area like a local.

We stayed here from Sept 1st to 5th in 2016 and had a wonderful time. The house had a very distinct charm and was clean and tidy. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood as you feel like you're living like a local :) We were able to walk to several locations like the Castro district, the painted ladies, some coffee shops and a Safeway nearby where we picked up some groceries. Would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in San Fran.
