This hotel was lovely with very helpful staff- thank you for the converter! Perfect location, huge breakfast in a lovely room. I stayed in 104, which was huge! And freshly remodeled. They said that the rooms on the 4th floor and above have not yet been remodeled. A colleague stayed up there and said her room was small and not yet remodeled. One thing to note is there is construction on the building next door that starts at 8am during the week. The heat is strong and not really adjustable so I kept the window open. That ment that I heard the construction in the morning. The windows are very sound proof so, if I’d kept them shut, I would not have heard anything. I will stay here again when I’m here next year for a conference at the UN. It’s a quick, easy and frequent tram to the UN.

Hôtel Suisse's location is perfect, right in the centre of Geneva with shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and the easiest transport connections. The room looked brand new and was well equipped. The breakfast was good but perhaps they should provide a few more items for vegans. The staff are friendly and helpful. Compared to other hotels in the area, Hotel Suisse was much more affordable.

WiFi Didn't work in my room not on my Iphone 13 pro
2 years old and on my Mac computer. The night receptionist said there must be something wrong with both of them.
Outside the hotel they have no problems connecting to the internet.

Great location (next to train station, near the lake and tons of restaurants). Helpful staff. The hotel is a bit worn and dated but super clean, and the rooms are well designed to maximize space. It’s didn’t dine there so can’t comment on that. Highly recommend.

Excellent choice for one night stopover in Geneva before visiting friends. Small but comfortable room, excellent breakfast and centrally located near lake and public transportation. Will stay again before flight home.

Perfect for train/train to airport. Slightly dated but comfortable enough. Sadly we booked non-refundable weeks in advance, only to find we paid 60% more than if we had booked a week or two ahead. Hotels in many European capitals sell out in August, but apparently not in Switzerland. We had the same experience in Zurich. I’d definitely stay here again for a short trip by train or air, but beware of apparent non-refundable “deals.”

This was one of my favorite stays while traveling in Europe. There’s AC in the room, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, comfy bed, everything you need when traveling. It’s just across street from the train station, and quick walking distance to the beautiful Geneva lake. Excellent buffet breakfast with hot and cold food; everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

This property has a fantastic location: its directly across the street from the train station, which is only a 7 minute ride to the airport; there are many restaurants and shops on the same street and, including large dept stores, within a three block walk; you can easily walk to Old Town and the lakeshore.

We were interailling as a family and were only staying for 1 night so wanted somewhere near the station for convenience. Hotel Suisse delivers this but it still provided relative peace for us on 6th floor. It wasn't noisy at all and enjoyed using the large balcony space. We had a family room adjoining rooms off our own corridor locked corridor which was perfect.
Only a short walk to the lake and all that has to offer. A great brief stay!!!

Doesn’t look much from the outside, but once inside your opinion changes. Deceptively large once you go up from reception. Rooms were well presented and spacious and surprisingly quiet as you are near the main train station. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the good price and location opposite the station. 7 minute ride from the airport for CHF3 each and not having to walk far was welcome. We arrived around noon and were surprised to find our rooms ready which was a bonus. Breakfast was reasonably priced at CHF16 each however, we didn’t try it as 2 of our party have small appetites in the morning!
Just a few minutes walk to the lakeside and the characterful old town. If you’re looking for a convenient but well presented hotel in Geneva this comes highly recommended.

Hotel Suisse was right across from the train station making it a perfect stop for a one day layover. The area was walkable with tons of city life right at the your doorstep. There are a number of restaurants within a few hundred meters. Old Town was only a 15-minute walk, and was beautiful. The included breakfast was a nice touch, with bacon & eggs, crepes, toast, jam, fresh vegetables, meat/cheese, fresh juice and coffee. Would stay here again if we stop through Geneva.
