Nice and clean room, very good service at reception and at restaurant, nice lady attending breakfast

It is a beautiful location! We could hear the Ocean all night and it was beautiful! Staff was awesome and very helpful!

This location is amazing, it’s we’ll situated right on the beach. The hotel has a nice restaurant and terrace right on the beach walkway. The rooms are clean, the service is above and beyond. Also saint Malo is a super nice, clean and relaxing city, the beach is huge and the sunsets are like no others.

Excellent sea view room right on the seawall promenade within walking distance to the walled city. Hotel Alexandra exceeded my expectations at this price point.

The view from our window onto the beach was superb and it was a huge plus to be able walk out of the hotel onto the promenade. We didn’t make use of the restaurant in the evenings but did once eat lunch on the terrace which was most enjoyable. We certainly intend to stay again for a short break.

Wife and my 2 kids spend 2 nights. Wonderful staff, parking was right at the hotel, has a lift. The beach is quite nice and a 20-30 minute walk for the main city. Rooms very well kept and spacious. Restaurant had some great food and nice breakfast. Would go back for sure.

When I booked this hotel I had looked at many 3- and 4-star hotels and after my stay was surprised that this is rated 4 stars. Nothing horrible to say about the place, but it struck me as more of a 3-star kind of place. The location is outstanding, right on the beach. My room was small but adorable with a small balcony. The bathtub was raised and ceiling low so a 6-ft person would probably hit the ceiling. Handheld shower had no wall fixture to hang on to make it into a regular shower so one hand was always needed to hold the shower head. Wifi was extremely spotty and cut out every 2-3 minutes which was beyond frustrating. It worked perfectly in the dining room. Parking lot adjacent to the hotel was a great plus and otherwise the hotel was fine. Would probably not stay there again.

It was rather enjoyable stay. Balcony was a bonus. Fine food on the spot, breakfast, dinner... Indoor garage - another bonus. Waterfront - priceless.

Our room was very good. Balcony with Sea View. Hotel was very good. However, breakfast was very poor value and over priced. In fact we choose to have breakfast at a nearby hotel on the second day. It was 5 euros cheaper and better. In Brest we stayed in Escale Oceana and breakfast was 8 euros and by far the best.

The rooms were nice and clean. The TV had some UK channels. I was there in the off season and it was very quiet so I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast 17 Euro. Parking 10 Euro a day in the hotel car park.

It's about a 15 minute walk to the old town but the beach is at the back of the hotel the front is up a little side street parking in there car park is tight and not free but It's better than roadside

Generally the hotel and restaurant are excellent. Luck averted real difficulties:- The lift was out of action and no one offered to help us with luggage - lucky we were on the first floor with not too many stairs. We were lucky to secure the last car park space.

Receptionists were friendly, welcoming and informative.
