Good location that is close to the train station. Short walk across the bridge to shops and restaurants.

The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was good. The reception was a bit strange with just a bar table and bell but seemed to work ok. Great location right next to the station and a short walk to the old town and lots of restaurants.

Stay was nice, hotel clean and comfortable.but make sure you go to breakfast well in advance to the time they say they stop serving. We arrived 10 minutes before and there was very little of the normally nice breakfast available. The staff supplied us with some fruits when we complained but obviously it’s not the same. Was very disappointing.😒

My first time at an Ibis Hotel was very positive..The room was comfortable and the workers were friendly and helpful. It’s nice to have a free breakfast in Europe.

Had a nice room overlooking river and easy access to city center and the local attractions. Very close to train station as well. The staff made our stay very pleasant and recommended a side tour to Biarritz which was great. Breakfast and coffee were great. Good variety. They had good internet and a computer available for client use.

Only stayed one night but close to everything and easy walk over bridge into town centre.

Arriving at Ibis Styles Bayonne Centre Gare before noon, I did not expect to have my room ready but it was ready! The room was clean and when I drew the curtains, I was stunned by the beautiful view of the rivers with the Bayonne Cathedral, town hall, the bridges, and other historic buildings. Proximity to the train station was convenient, especially for my early departure of 6:53am. Will stay here again.

Ibis Styles hotel in Bayonne is really well located a short walk from the train station. The hotel was great with a great breakfast. Staff were very helpful and well informed. Great restaurants across the bridge. The only negative was the roadworks being done by the town right in front of the hotel. It will be very good when finished.

This was a perfect location for an overnight stay in Bayonne. Very close to the railway station and riverside restaurants. We were warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff who provided local tourist information. The rooms on the top floor have beautiful views over the river and surrounding countryside. We found our room to be spotless with a very comfortable bed. Toilet conveniently separate from bathroom. We finished with an excellent buffet breakfast. We will definitely return to this reasonably priced hotel.

We are having a great 3 week trip in southern France and northern Spain. Ibis Styles staff were very helpful.

Nice big room in great location. Breakfast which was included in rate was actually regally good - French continental breakfast with all the good trimmingings.

The owner was friendly, helpful and fun. The location is excellent if you plan to walk the El Camino de Santiago. It's very close to the pilgrim's office. We highly recommend this lodging. Thank you.

Very enjoyable

Two seniors in their early 70 from the U.S. who are not too picky about European hotels, and usually stay at 3 star locations stayed at Grand Hotel Raymond IV. The hotel is about a three block walk from the main train station – we would say very convenient. Desk staff very helpful – even printed a contract off for us. There is an elevator. Our room was roomy enough. The toilet was separate from the bathing area, strong water pressure and good towels. Wi-fi was accessible but we had to re-enter the password often. Minimal electrical plugs for charging – we travel with four devices. Breakfast was what I call European minimal: coffee, tea, juice, croissants, breads, fruit (fresh and canned), yoghurt, meat, cheese and hard boiled eggs – definitely sufficient. Location definitely good for walking to sights and restaurants. Note that on the front of the hotel, it is called Hotel Raymond IV – the word Grand nowhere to be seen! Bonus for me: there was a place around the corner to get a manicure.

We have stayed at this hotel four times with family and as a couple only. It is in a great location and has wonderful views over the river.

Rooms needs redecorating looks tired

Formerly the Hotel Loutau, this is a well-run 3 star place currently in the hands of the Ibis chain. Rooms are sometimes small, but those with river views particularly nice. Staff is helpful and efficient. Train station only 2 blocks away; town center a pleasant 10 min walk. Restaurant recommendation to the St Cruque bistro was good; not always the case with hotel referrals for places to eat.

Travelling as a family of four, with our sons (7 & 9) on the sofa bed, the room was comfortable/cosy for our 1 night stay, but would have been too cramped for a longer stay. Good location very close to Train Station and great views of bridge and across the river. Buffet breakfast good. Signage from the railway station a bit confusing for pedestrians (as I think it is designed for those arriving by car). We crossed a few more roads than we needed to and missed the most direct small lane on your right after exiting the train station.

The Ibis Styles Bayonne Gare Centre was welcoming and pleasantly surprising! Excellent rooms with comfortable and relaxing bed! Location was a joy, right beside the river, the bridge traffic was not intrusive at all as the rooms are well insulated from it! Going by the high standard and selection of breakfast items, I should have elected to eat in as my chosen restaurant in town was dreadful! The room was fine - a lovely aspect over the river, and not too noisy given the central location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was to our requirements. As the hotel is in the middle of refurbishment, it is difficult to give an assessment of what it will be like once this is complete, but we were happy with our stay.

The Hotel Loustau is a charmer- and in a perfect spot, at the edge of the Adour River. The rooms are simple, but so very reasonable, and clean and comfortable - and the views are breathtaking. Bayonne has a great feel, and it is easy to walk to wonderful restaurants and shops. The staff at the Loustau was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant there is a little pricey, but very good. I enjoyed my stay here and will very likely return.

Nice, inexpensive hotel very near the train station. Our late arrival was handled smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable. Our breakfast was very satisfying. We would go back.
