Nice and comfortable a little noisy at night.

The location was close enough to the port for walking and sightseeing. It was also very close to the museum. The service was exceptional. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay

A wonderful stay. Hotel was centrally located with great access to everything. Rooftop pool and bar was a particular highlight. Cannot recommend enough for a stay in Heraklion. Staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Beds are way too old and uncomfortable.

Hotel was awful, very outdated. There was a terrible musty smell in our room that doesn’t go away, so bad. The bed was very low and hard, no comfort. Flooring was also peeling away. Shower head did not work properly, was broken. Very old, needs a big revamp!

Was only there as a stop over for the airport but staff were very helpful and the rooftop terrace & pool were a bonus

Bathroom

The hotel is right beside the Archeological Museum and within walking distance of many other attractions. Parking is available (EUR 14/night): you pause outside in the busy street, double-parking is normal, to unload luggage and the hotel staff will then take your keys and whisk the car away to somewhere else -- give 20 minutes notice whenever you want it back. The hotel has a slightly older feel to it, but our room was spacious with a good balcony, although a small ensuite bathroom; the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was very welcome. There was a very good choice of buffet options at breakfast. The rooftop pool is fairly compact and can be windy, but a blessing after a hot day of sightseeing!

Always a very pleasant and friendly place to stay. Very handy for local buses to either the airport or the Ktel bus station.

Hotel was advertised as having a rooftop pool and rooftop bar available “Highlight: Outdoor pool available! Only 5% of properties offer this in Heraklion.” Both were NOT available. We booked a twin room. The springs were easy to feel through the mattresses - so uncomfortable. They offered us to test 3 alternative rooms. The first had the same bed. The second had much better beds, but had a really bad mould smell in the room which couldn’t get rid of by opening the window, see the photo of the ceiling. The third room was a double bed that was also really hard and again springs were felt through the mattress. We walked into town and found another hotel that had a rooftop bar and fresh rooms and left Capsis without staying. They even charged us the full days parking for 2 hours of parking. Neither the hotel nor Hotels.com responded to our messages through the App. We lost all the money for the stay, even though the hotel did not have the services advertised and stank of mould

The rooms were tiny, cold, infested with ants and other insects, no heating, dingy bathrooms, dingy rooms with worn down linens, and “king” beds were two uncomfortable twin beds next to each other with no gap cover. We hand a constant stream of ants coming out of the drain and other assort disgusting insects (see photos)

We only stayed one night.

Excellent location for walking, shopping, sightseeing,transfers to airport and bus. Excellent breakfast included. Rooftop bar/dining available. Bring earplugs for the best nights sleep but the convenience makes the noise bearable.

Very nice hotel within a 10 minute walk from the port or a 25 min Taxi ride from airport 14 Euro's. Friendly staff, great room. Just a tip don't pay extra for a balcony. its not worth it. Breakfast was fantastic, everything you could ask for in a breakfast. The roof top swimming pool and staff was outstanding. Very surprised at the prices for food and drink. Wasn't overinflated at all, which is unusually.

The room was nice, also clean. The pool was a bonus-not large but with a nice area around it. Breakfast was ample and had many items.

Super location, swimming pool only open after 10- and thus not for recreational swimmers who want to swim before work, lovely roof top bar-restaurant, but open late at night so upper floors get noise. Some issues with ventilation (our room had cigarette smell from the ventilation the whole time- 4th floor). Recommendation- allow guests to order coffee- the powder coffee in the breakfast room is pretty terrible...

Nice hotel with great roof top pool with lots of deck chairs, towel service, and a bar! Also really nice breakfast buffet included with your room. Comfy room with beautiful view from balcony. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Had a great experience. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and the pool and bar were great. Property was across from a park, walking distance from center. I will return.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We arrived on the boat from Pireaus at 7 in the morning and, even though we knew our rooms wouldn't be ready, they invited us to partake in the daily breakfast

The rooms are poorly sound-proofed both from other rooms and the outside. Everything in the room feels old, the shower handle and its hook were so weak. Funny smell in the bathroom. Excellent service though and helpful staff. The AC was really good. Breakfast was good, too. Location, close to a big bus stop, was excellent - walking distance to a lot of restaurants, shops and harbor.

Great staff and rooftop!

Front desk people all very friendly and helpful. Valet parking very handy. We had a corner suite on the top floor that was the best room in the hotel so we were spoiled with a large suite, separate dining/living room and large bedroom and bathroom. Balcony wrapped around 2 sides. Shopping started a few steps out the door. This suite only had a shower in a tub which was high to step into. Not suitable for elderly or others with mobility problems. Perhaps ask if other rooms have a walk in shower. Have returned this hotel due to great front staff and location - very close to port- even walkable and not too far from airport.
