A finely located hotel, steps from glorious entrance to the old town of Perugia.

Very well located, just out of the limited trafic area (50m from the elevator to go up to downtown). Still, it is 80m far from parking where you have a hotel discount. Great facilities, amazing beds, wonderul staff: i highly recommend it.

Unclear whose fault it was, but there was an error in the booking as communicated to the hotel: triple room for 2 instead of 4. Fortunately the hotel staff was helpful in quickly finding a satisfactory solution. In a 4-star hotel, the absence of international TV channels is simply not acceptable. Being charged for the rental of towels for the swimming pool is also something I had not seen yet. On the plus side, comfy and clean rooms, lovely breakfast and fantastic location.

AC box on the wall is just for show - definitely didn't work when I tried to set it to 68F for sleeping. Hotels take over AC master control for "eco" and money-saving purposes, but c'mon! You're in the business of providing sleep! Opened the window, but there's a very noisy/busy roundabout below, so was awake all night between being hot or disrupted from noise.

Very clean, modern, comfortable room. Breakfast was good.

I’ve been to Perugia many times and this was the best hotel I’ve stayed. It’s outside of the old city center (very close access though) but the updated rooms and helpful staff are a plus. I’ll definitely be back to Sangallo.

Would have liked a kettle to make a cup of tea.

The hotel is like a hidden gem. Exterior looks a bit ordinary but everything inside is of very high standard. The room is spacious and well decorated with modern and well equipped bathroom. Location can’t be better. It’s one minutes walk to bus terminal for our day trips to nearby towns. And it’s right next to the escalator leading to the historical center of the city. Service is excellent. Andrea at the recent is just excellent. He is so helpful and friendly

The hotel was generally good, clean and lovely rooms. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency that meant we had to cut short the stay by two days, but they charged us for the full term, without any help or gesture of good will . So not happy and as it’s the third time staying, will not be going back and will not recommend.

This property is newly renovated with latest digital door lock and safe in each room. Bathroom layout a bit odd with bidet in the way of bathroom door which cannot be opened all the way. One set of towels per guest in each room. No towels in gym or pool area. You have to bring the only bath towel from your room if you want to use the pool. Quite inconvenient.

Room was fine, as was location, no facility to get a wine, coffee or tea in hotel. The bar was very poor. Ludicrous floor lights by the bed that turned on every time the sheets moved!

We stayed at Hotel Sangallo Palace for 5 nights while planning our wedding nearby. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Car parking is a 1 minute walk away from the main entrance costing EUR11 per day. Given the location of the hotel this was essential for us as there are no other convenient locations nearby. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk via the town escalators to the historical centre of Perugia. The room had everything you'd expect although was a little dated in the decor. It was clean and everything worked as you'd expect. Room service came every day to make the bed, replenish toilet roll etc and replace towels on request. Breakfast is average with a mix of hot and cold options. I have had better hotel breakfasts, but I have certainly also had worse! The pool area is wanting a little - the pool itself is lined in a plastic/material liner as opposed to tile or something similar with a more quality feel. It feels a little temporary. The room had centralised aircon, but it was limited to a minimum of 22 degrees. This may be because it was October, but with outside temperatures at an unseasonable 20-25 degrees it would have been nice to cool the room below 22 degrees. Free wifi is available in the room and was strong and reliable enough to stream movies and work remotely. In all we had a pleasant stay and the hotel lived up to expectation. If the room decor was a little more contemporary and the pool area spruced up there would be little to fault.

This property is in a convenient location: close to the bus station, accessible by car, and close to the escalators to Corso Vanucci and the mini metro. Dinner at the hotel was great. My grandchildren lived the pool.

I was unable to go to Peruggia. I informed 2 days before. The hotel did not refund. They insisted to take all the money

Lovely hotel great location

the hotel has great location, just a 5 minute walk to the city center, where most attractions are. Rooms are large and comfortable, as well as the bathroom. It has been recently upgraded. Breakfast was just fine, don't expect a great buffet, but it does the job.

Sangallo Palace is perfectly located in quiet spot directly adjacent to one of the city escalators that takes you right into the heart of the old historic city center.

Centeally located with just two escalators away from the city centre. Staff was very courteous, excellent breakfast and room quite large with all amenities.
