I did not stay here I had to book a new hotel because this place is infested with bugs and unsanitary! They still haven’t refunded me my money look at the photos! I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my stay at Comfort Inn Cordelia and formally request a full refund due to multiple issues. Upon check-in, my first room smelled heavily of cigarette and cigar smoke, which posed a health risk due to my condition. After requesting a change, the second room was worse, with a severe bug infestation—bugs were on the beds, bathroom, desks, and ceilings. The sheets were also unclean, adding to the unsanitary conditions. This violates California’s consumer protection laws, as the hotel failed to provide safe, habitable accommodations. The bug infestation and dirty environment breached the implied warranty of habitability, and the conditions violated health and safety codes related to pest control. Given these issues, I request a full refund. I hope this can be resolved quickly to avoid escalation to health authorities and consumer protection agencies.

Room was clean. Hotel's description said gym, gym consisted of 2 treadmills and a exercise ball. Even so the gym was closed for remodel. All soda vending machines on premises were not working. But buffet breakfast and morning staff were great!

Clean, looks like newly renovated room. Only issue was a stickly bathroom door which we reported to the desk on the way out. Very quiet and had a large open meeting/dining area. Coffee available 24/7. Second Time at a Sonesta property and was very happy.

Remodeled new interior clean! But the pool and hot tub need major repair the hot tub coating peeling it looks nasty. Pool same and dirty. Stay was nice though

Overall good just had to change my room since some of the lights and tv didn’t work other than that it was a nice stay

Open commen areas swimming pool. Cose to shopping. Room Has a kitchenette large room plenty of space. Dislikes room doesnt have a table to sit around also dated furniture could use a facelift.

We’re here for a family event, only for one night. The only issue we encountered was that the toilet seat was very loose that I tightened up. I can not believe that the maid service did not notice the seat being loose when the toilet was cleaned.

This hotel is in a great location. Easy access to the I-80. Very close to the outlet and downtown. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Upgrades are modernly cute. Microwave and fridge convenient. Really nice breakfast selections, just missing fresh fruit options. I wasnt too impressed with the jacuzzi & pool. Overall I would definitely return.

We booked a two queen suite, it was very dated smelled like eggs, had a hole in the wall near the ceiling,and the door would get stuck. We called the front desk they explained the room was dated but they had some renovated rooms available but it wasn't a suite. We accepted. This room was smaller but in better condition. When we were packing to leave I placed our used towels on the floor and then a huge cockroach ran from the towels and climbed the wall to under the vanity.

Hotel under construction, 2nd floor is out of service. Someone put soap in the dryer, yes, the dryer. Ice machine is not working. No shampoo, no conditioner, no lotion in the room. For $300/night, this is really bad. Next to the freeway so very noisy. Nothing to do in town.

Place is nice and clean, staff is friendly, hotel is been remodeling but clean

The property is under renovation, the pool is empty, no vending machines available, funky smell in the room

Our stay was not the best, the biggest disappointment is that the hotel was under full construction and we were not told until we arrived and still paid full price for the hotel. The staff was (kind) but completely unprepared to be open, and throughout the weekend it was like a series of unfortunate events over and over here is a list of some what went wrong: 1. They tested the fire alarm one morning and didn’t give any warning 2. The power was going off and on 3. The tv and the refrigerator in the room were broken (tv had to be changed - on the back of the tv to the hdmi setting every time it was turned on) and the refrigerator door was broken and also was so cold that our canned drinks froze and exploded 4. The plugs in the room were super lose so would only work to charge things about half the time 5. Extremely loud construction, doors slamming early in the morning, construction staff shouting, wet paint on the walls

Terrible experience. Water main burst and destroyed all my personal items. Staff was not helpful and did not provide any incentives or refund. I would like a refund for the room and items destroyed

Room was too closed to event activities, very loud for several hours. Heard lots of noise throughout the night as well. Sorry this was not one of the better hotels I have stayed in.

Quiet and clean are the two hallmarks of my travels and stays in hotels/motels. This place was a bullseye for both. You'll not be disappointed.

Clean, but overpowering smell of cleaner in the room. Luckily we could open the window. Otherwise very nice and helpful staff.

Nice and clean the bathroom clean

The curtains in the room did not close completely, and leading a lot of ambient light that meets sleep difficult. There was also a constant humming sound that disrupted sleep. The bathroom sink didn’t drain well and that was inconvenient when washing up and brushing one’s teeth. Lastly, the in-room coffee was awful. However, the breakfast buffet was very nice and kept stock. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Great room. Very quiet on the 3rd floor. Housekeeping staff was attentive.

Ok.. but roaches... hotel hasn't given any type of apology or upgrade/ discount offer to redeem themselves as yet. Just said oh we will get it fixed. Would have left if had found them the night we checked in

This hotel was fine for a night. Check in and front desk were very unattended, distracted and rude. The rooms need attention and updating. Mold spots in the bathroom and ripped privacy curtains.

It worked for us, a bit dated but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was good, better than good. The front desk woman was super nice and let us check in early. The breakfast was good. The rooms are spacious, the beds not so great, uncomfortable. The a/c was a bit loud and worker great.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean. Breakfast was good with options for everyone. Could stay here again if I’m in the area

Clean room and friendly staff and service!

Definitely ready for a remodel. Staff was pleasant and helpful, but the room had a terrible smell. The bathroom had mold, and broken backsplash on shower. We didn’t ask for a different room since we noticed several other reviewers with same complaints. The toilet splashed over at every flush, and the black out curtains were short so they didn’t black out much light. There are larger, blackout curtains that can be used, but they cover the air conditioning which isn’t an option in the summer. The musty smell was the worst part though.
