My flight was suddenly cancelled and I had to find the hotel nearby and this hotel was my family's rescue. I didn't know anything about this area but the staff calmly answered my phone and arranged the shuttle to the hotel. The hotel room was clean and spacious. And Starbucks, Walmart, McD, and other restaurants are nearby and it was so convenient. Thanks for kindness.

Life required me to be on the area monthly. Tried a few places with a similar price within a couple miles. Liked here the most of the bunch. Stayed at least 6 times in 6 months. Lots of places to eat in the area. All your basic shopping necessities within a couple miles as well. Near the expo center and close enough to the airport. Staff has been super friendly and we’re now on a first name basis.

This property is undergoing construction and the noise level is beyond bearable. Construction starts as early as 8:00AM every day including weekends! It would better to close while construction & renovations are undergoing. Water was cut off from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM! They have hotel listed as a this IHG property, but there is no hotel essentials such as toothpaste, brush, slippers etc. The pool is advertised as open but it’s completely closed & covered, undergoing renovations. Staff are rude and won’t accommodate requests due to unbearable noise levels.

This property is undergoing renovations & the noise levels are beyond bearable. I don’t understand why they kept the property running when they’re guests can’t even rest. The swimming pool was advertised open, but it’s not. There are no basic in the room such as toothbrush kit or anything. The rooms are an average size. The property is very old and the carpets are not in good condition. Staff are not considerate and will knock heavy on your door before check out. Overal 2/10.

We were not informed prior to arriving that this property is under construction. There was jackhammering happening above our room from 10 AM to 6 PM. Other than School that it was fine!

We were not made aware at any time since booking that the pool was not open. Also the dining was closed in the evenings during our entire stay. We booked this place specifically for those amenities. Very unhappy about not being told up front at least about the pool. We would have made another choice had we known.

I requested a non-smoking room and the suite smelled like smoke. In fact, the whole entire hotel including our room smelled strongly of mildew as well as cigarette smoke. Noise from my wing was terrible. Someone always fighting or the side door to outside constantly being slammed. The customer service ladies at the front desk were rude and looked down at me when I requested extra toiletries. Light bulb out in bathroom and they wouldn’t replace it. The closet where mini frig was located was exactly that – a closet they tore the doors off to insert the frig. No light above so the area was dark.
Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo Center was falsely advertised...there was no free breakfast at this site. Also, the site is older so the shower was outdated. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

When we arrived there was a homeless person lying on the sidewalk on the side of the building. That was much better than the roach on the bathroom floor. Not a fan and would never return.
