Hotel was in the middle of renovations which we had no idea about when making the booking.

Dilapidated, extremely dirty, smells horrible and the part of town is scary to say the least. Couldn’t get out of there any faster!

Limited parking (especially for us; we were pulling an enclosed trailer). We were greeted by staff who allowed us to park the trailer by the front desk window so it can be monitored for the night. There are many many homeless people around and we were concerned about theft.
When we entered our room it was older but clean. However, out of the 3 Queen beds in our room, two of them had broken bed frames so the beds were not flat. Also, our blowdryer was burnt out, and they were unable to provide me with one.
When we checked out, the front desk person was not at all surprised about the condition of the room. He didn’t respond with anything but a head nod and “yeah”.
We loaded into the car and looked over to see that a front window was smashed out of the vehicle next to us.

We have stayed at this property in the past. We felt confindent that our stay would be the same. It is under new management now. The first problem was with parking. The property has adequate parking for small and standard vehicles, but not much for trucks and/or SUV's. Our check in was fine except the attendant spoke rather quickly and was difficult to understand. I was disappointed that the room was not outfitted with enough bathroom linens for two occupants. I believe a patron should not be required to ask for what is expected to be normal accoutrements. I will probably avoid staying at this property if I ever travel to Prince George again.

The property is under renovations which was not indicated on the their web, but they did have a small sign on the check in desk. I expected the renovation work start a little later in the day, like 9:00am, to allow guests to enjoy their morning and stay. This wasn't the case, 7:00am shape the bangs began. Very disappointing stay to say the least!!

We were a little let down with the cleanliness (I wiped the bathroom floor a bit with a tissue and it was black. One bed broken, emergency exit blocked off with 2x4 wood. Building shows leaks throughout, smells, very dark, not dusted on the bed frame. My daughter found a lot of dust/ dirt on them. No extra toilet paper (1 single ply roll for 4 people) looked like it was the generic brand of cereals.

The staff was friendly. It was within walking distance of many attractions. The carpet had a large stain on it , though easily overlooked. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection to choose from.

I arrived at 8pm and both the open parking lot and underground parking lot was full so I had to park on the street. There were a few homeless people in the neighbourhood that I was nervous about.

The carpet on the floor wasn’t flat and ruffled together … over all this place is pretty dirty. After further investigation I found out they have a bad bed bug out break…. Not surprised. I checked my bed for bugs before I even knew about this and that had a weird sheet over the mattress that stops it from
Being viewable … there was a lady doing crack right out side the entrance …. Pretty bad homeless population. My car didn’t feel safe. Would never stay here again .

It was almost perfect except for the breakfast. Items ran out including pancake syrup, milk and creamer. We need to call reception just to fill out the breakfast items but we were informed that some, including important items like those I mentioned above are out of stock.

It was a good hotel. If you want a good price stay here. . Rooms are clean and staff was nice. The property outside has a lot of homeless. They did not bother us and kept to themselves. It was so sad to see.

You don’t have to get a big suite to have a kitchen with a full size fridge. Staff are wonderful and the place is immaculate.

The hotel looks very run down from the outside and the lobby, but the room was unexpectedly very nice. Great bathroom and large shower! The breakfast wasn’t that great, but better than nothing.

Great value for the price. The walls need to be washed or painted and the carpet needs to be cleaned. The sink and shower were very clean and so were the beds.

The property was conveniently located, but boy it has not been kept well. The underneath of the beds were in horrible condition. In the bathroom, the curtain was missing , so all the water went on the floor.
And the owners seem to be very attached to the bed of flowers outside the door. Although the property is "pet friendly" , they have some sort of issues with pets.

The area is suspect for security due to the drug use on the street. Rooms were average, bathrooms nice, breakfast a bit sub par but better than continental. Parking is very limited for trucks.
