Housekeeping wasn’t very good, had to ask for towels etc even though we put tag on door

Honestly, I liked just about everything about Sandman. Clean, quiet and friendly staff. I've spoken to 4 different staff members while I was there, and they're all friendly and respectful. That's a plus in my book. I'm definitely going to stay there again when I'm in Surrey.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful, probably some of the best hotel service I have ever received. The only main issues was that there is no AC in the bedroom, but thankfully there is a fan.

This property is not as advertised... Expedia should do their best to verify photos before uploading on your website as you are misleading customers with those photos of Sandman hotel. It is not as advertised and despite staying there barely 7 hours as i didnt have another option at 2am with my children, I was still charged for one night. Very disappointed in both sandman and expedia.

The hotel rooms are a bit shabby. But overall clean. Major complaint is that there was no AC unit in the bedroom portion of the suite. The AC unit was in the separate living room. So we had to keep the door between the bedroom and living room open all night so that it would stay cool. They should have separate ductwork for each room. The location however was great and convenient.

Tired old hotel, not clean, had to change rooms. Underground parking not working, restaurant closed, indifferent staff, no amenities. Honestly if it was at least clean it would be somewhat tolerable but it isn't.

Have been staying here weekly for a few months. M-F. This is not the first time this has happened where they double charge for the stay. They take the funds 2x on the same day. It takes about 10-14 days to get refunded for the double charge. It is starting to happen more frequently. This last time it happened May 6th, it is the 21st and we still have not been refunded. They started the process and then reversed the refund . We have an ripen investigation with bank. If you stay here watch your bank account very carefully. This is NOT the deposit, this is the full charge of the stay!!

Has kitchenette and bedroom is separated. The front desks are always so helpful especially the filipinos. Needs more cleaning and updating.

Good place. Currently in Reno’s Great staff Super nice staff members Building appears to be aging Our ceiling had patched paint job…and this was a penthouse..

The check in clerk, sorry forget his name, starts with J, was very nice, as was check out lady as well. The room was spectacular, and not expensive at all for what you get. Nicer than my apartment. Washer dryer, fireplace, comfy king-size bed, well equipped kitchen. Easy access on and off the freeway, good parking.

The property has beautiful suites with kitchen and a great view from the balcony. The front desk staff are helpful. Sadly there is no restaurant at this location, but we had door dash delivered to our room.

This is a well equipped and very convenient property. It is a bit run down and there has clearly been water damage in the units - whether or it has been addressed is uncertain and there could be mold in the carpets - but overall it fits the bill and provides convenience at a reasonable price.

The stay was quite pleasant and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. The worst part of the trip was the booking process. Our initial stay was double booked and we had to be moved to another accommodation and area. this process took almost 3h to resolve from waiting on hold, to being dsconnected before finally being booked in a new hotel from a VRBO air bnb stay that was much more affordable. When we finally got booked we were put up in a hotel for 2 days of our 5 day trip. By the time our 2 days were up we had still not had any contact with the escalation team handling accommodations so I was forced to again call in and wait on hold only to find that the issue had not been resolved yet. I was told that because the issue had not been approved yet that I would have to again pay out of pocket for a second stay in a replacement room and after packing up our bags for the day we ended up moving back into the same hotel for the remainder of our stay and had to share a room instead of having our own rooms as initially booked and the a refund for one of the paid stays would be resolved at a later date. It was not the situation you want to be in after driving 5h & want a place to sleep. & while the rebooking of a replacement hotel was helpful, the process of 3 hours was far too long. The escalation team forgetting to rebook us and waiting on hold to source the remainder of our stay really left a sour taste. I would like a response back on this review please.

Friendly /Clean/ close to everything - would recommend ❤️

Staff members are very friendly and accommodating but the property does not provide enough amenities in the room & parking is not convenient enough to use it.
