Staff was welcoming. Great location.

I really like the location and how accessible things are. Also the lovely touch of housekeeping turning down the bed for the evening. And I am particularly appreciative of the parking space and excellent customer service before we even arrived!

Our family of 3 had such a great time during our stay here. The location was perfect, everything was walkable. We also loved that we could use the pool at Congress Hall and all of its amenities. Beach passes were included and the beach was beautiful. I also appreciated all the little extras like water bottles, ear plugs, dish soap, kitchen sponge, toaster, keurig with plenty of creamers/sugar, silverware, dishes, and pots/pans. The place was so clean and housekeeping was in twice a day to empty trash, replace water bottles, and tidy up. Turn down service was such a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back here again!

The History.

Loved our stay at The Star! The rooms are gorgeous and super comfortable. They are clean and bright and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The location can’t be beat! It’s close to the mall for shopping and restaurants for hanging with friends. We had a great time. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice old fashioned property with very friendly and helpful staff.

cape resort properties are always spotless, quiet and charming.

The toilet wasn't working properly and staff had to come.3x to fix. They ended up finding a screw that had been flushed down the toilet. We were traveling with our toddler so it made for a headache. The owner came out and offered us another room but at that point it was fixed and very late. The owner did offer us a free complementary breakfast at the blue pig however I felt it was a weak proposal given the circumstances.

Always great to come back here at the Star Inn. I’ve stayed at most of the venues in Cap May and I keep coming back because of the hospitality and the location.

Star was an absolute deal place to stay the staff were absolutely amazing everything convenient close to shopping and restaurants will absolutely go back.

Gracious, helpful personal combined with a location close to the beach and mall.

Not happy. Leaky roof forced us to change rooms. New room was on ground floor had no ocean view. I paid for ocean view and got it only for one night. No manager reached out to us after the debacle although the desk clerk said,” management will contact you for compensation “

Great place to enjoy a beautiful beach

We had a great stay at a great rate. Rooms are small but nice updated bathroom. Nice shared amenities with Congress Hall right across the street. Beach and shopping booth only a block away!

You can appreciate the Victorian style houses in town and the many small shopping centers, everything was a walking distance. This was a vacation on the Spring.

Quaint inn in the heart of the city, a short walk to everything

We’ve stayed at The Star a few times, and love going in January! The island is quiet but there’s still so much to do. The neighboring coffee shop was closed for renovations so we tried the Star Cafe and it was great! Everything from check-in to our morning coffee was easy and enjoyable.

We have stayed here a few years in a row at Christmas and love everything about it. It’s adorable, clean, comfortable and walking distance to all the Christmas stuff.
