Nice stay at practical location. Short walk to city center, casino in-house. Staff were friendly. Taking the dog was no problem, but there was an additional fee of CHF 30. Parking at CHF 25/day also quite expensive. Room was decent and clean, although not very modern.

Receptionist slow and kind of clueless about questions I asked. Breakfast very expensive, typical situation where you can eat 4 omeletts or drink one coffee and they charge you the same amount. Hotel is good though, position ok and rooms are nice.

The breakfast was good and the staff give you good service and you could also get the omelette without problem. Bur no sparkling wine for breakfast.

The way to the hotel is quite confusing and not too close with walking to the old town of St Gallen. Not a good location for walking tour. But bus to the train station is quite convenient.

Great location with easy bus to town center and whole area. Free bus when you stay there. Superb breakfast buffet with huge choices for all. No need to eat lunch. Great shower in room too.

A very nice, clean and quiet hotel located slightly outside the main business area. It's a good 20 minute walk from the main train station or a short taxi ride. The staff was very helpful and my room on the business floor was very quiet and comfortable. No problems with Internet, it was quite fast. Breakfast was OK, pretty standard. There is a casino on site which I did not get a chance to visit. The "old town" is close by and there are several good restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel is combined with Casino, but no noise at all on 5th floor. It is bit difficult to find good restaurant on Sundays in the area (almost all closed).

Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with our 5 yr old son, whose new toy they helped to fix! We didnt use the restaurant facilities. Hotel is a 15 min walk from the main train station. Our family room was clean and mainly comfortable, although rather hot even with no heating on! We had to leave window open all night in order to sleep well. The shower was powerful, yet strangely had a half-transparent window which faced the bedroom. This meant that if one of us used the bathroom at night, the bathroom light shone through and awoke the others.

We used his hotel as an overnight stop-over as we travelled through Switzerland. The word I can only describe this place is Average. Check-in was sub-par (almost forgettable) and the room itself felt like it was going down the route of a cheap hotel (I.e. furniture, ambience, etc. was on the verge of being outdated).The devil really is in the detail; nothing was quite what it is was. The coffee “facilities” were basic sachets, the wine bucket has didn’t have enough room for ice, there were scratches and all sorts on parts of the wall. The room was spacious; so much so because, other than the bed, there was only a single, small chair with what looked like an old-beside table that the hotel tried to pass off as an actual table. The bizarre glass panel providing more than peak into the bathroom from the bedroom will become a terrible nightmare if anyone requires to use the bathroom at night. The so-called “gym” is equally outdated, providing 3 pieces of equipment, one of which if you’re over 6 foot, you would be hitting the ceiling with you head. Within the gym is also a relaxation room; I cannot think of anywhere worse than in the basement of a hotel to relax. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone - even if you’re you’re staying overnight - it really isn’t worth it at all. Spend a little more money, and go somewhere else.

There is a window that looks righti into the bath from thr main part of the room. It is frosted glass up to mid chest then clear. Bath light shines onto the bed. Hard to describe but weird. Also there is a post obstructing the walk to the bath. In the dark one could bump into it and get hurt. No way to leave a small Light on somewhere without disturbing a sleeping person. The mattress was soft and uncomfortable. The staff were wonderful But the hotel was not

Badly designed room with a column next to one side of the bed (hazard in the night), no wireless in the room, connection through a cable only (in the age of IPhones and IPads), the 'gym' is the size of a cupboard with 3 machines only, the shower has no water pressure whatsoever (and if somebody uses the tap, then it virtually stops), toiletries provided are an absolute minimum (one small shampoo between two people), breakfast expensive, staff were friendly and helpful.

The major disappointment was that we were given a 'NON-SMOKING' room - but the smell of tobacco smoke was quite strong. We were moved to another room, but had to ask for extra towels, etc, as it wasn't set up for two people.

Spent a very nice 5 days at the hotel where a welcoming smile from staff at reception went a long way to getting rid of the stress of a long journey. There were smiles from the staff at the reception, at the bar and in the restaurant and if i were to return to the area i would not hesitate in re-booking this hotel.

Clean and comfortable. But, I booked for 3 adults and thought it was expensive. At check out they hit me with another charge for the extra bed which I needed to sleep 3. What they do is this: if you book 3 adults with 2 beds they will give you two single beds (not 1 single, 1 double). When we could not sleep two adults in 1 single bed we ask for another bed. This is an extra charge.

Modern, clean, staff ready to help you, ration pricing, close to the town center, quiet. What else should we ask for?

We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel. They were very helpful and efficient and communication was easy ( we don't speak much german but there English was very good which unusual in most hotels). The room was immaculate and had everything we needed including power adapters at reception. We would definitely stay there again as we didn't get a chance to try the highly recommended restaurant.
