The floor had leftover candy on it. It was challenging to sleep with all of the traffic outdoors. The AC unit was quite loud. There was no clean water in the unit. There was signage all over the unit with save-the-Earth messaging that I did not ask for when I paid for the room.

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the coffee machine, fridge, and microwave in the room. It saved us money to bring food from home instead of going out everyday.

Always a nice place to stay if you can handle the chaos of the sports teams who stay here. Kids playing in the hall, chaos in the breakfast room. Our room was at the back this time however, and after 10:00pm was very quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable beds!

As always, a lovely stay! We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. It was nice, but we found at night the room was quite stuffy. Over all, very nice room and we’ll be back!

We booked this hotel for a Saturday night concert in Vancouver (Rogers Arena). We normally stay downtown, but because of the number of events on that weekend availability and pricing were both problematic.
We stayed at this Surrey Holiday Inn and took the skytrain to Vancouver (Expo line). The King George station was a short 10 minute drive from the hotel, and the skytrain made getting there and back really, really easy. I wish I had thought of this before!
The hotel is set in a park-like area, with green space behind it and across the street as well. The hotel and room were clean, crisp, and well-appointed. For a Saturday night in September, we left feeling like we got great value by staying here (and the parking is free!). Will definitely stay here again.

Front desk was friendly, there was an powerful unpleasant sent in the room that appeared to be coming from the carpet. It remained even after staff put a spray sent in the corners and on the carpet.

My husband and I enjoy the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are comfortable, the bed is very nice, and the area is relatively safe. It’s our go to hotel when we visit the lower mainland.

I checking it took longer then it should have. I was woken up by house keeping the first morning . There was hair in the shower and hot tub. No recycling bin . No dishware or silverware in the tiny kitchen but it had a new bottle of dish soap. The bed was comfortable . The room was newer and big.

The room was clean and the AC worked well. We appreciated the focus on quiet after 10pm. We were very impressed with Vevik’s determination and concern helping us find a solution when our son’s L sign was stolen from off our vehicle. We would certainly stay there again.
