Hotel is under renovation and our room had bedbugs. My wife got bitten several times on her body while in bed. We asked for a king size and got two double beds

Friendly staff. Excellent location, which is near several restaurants within walking or driving distance. Sizable room. The free breakfast is a plus but it is limited in the options. The hotel is currently under renovation but from the layout it appears that it will amazing once completed.

Great experience all around

It was under renovation and parking lot was filled with trailers making parking inconvenient. Entrance clustered with large boxes relating to remodel. Only third floor available and with rooms not yet renovated so moldings falling from wall as well as a general desperate need for maintenance. Arrived for breakfast 15 minutes before closing only to find half the trays empty with no one refilling them therefore relegated to a very disappointing meal. elevators needed vacuuming with litter on floor during entire stay. Worst experience ever at a hotel and most disappointing was fact that there was no mention of renovation when booking. Just booked trip to Cancun with Expedia and can only pray no such similar fate awaits me. I truly feel like I was duped and am somewhat angry about that, first time for such a disappointment with your services and may have to consider different approach for future bookings. Breakfast was good, room was updated and nice. Room and bathroom appeared clean. Not much parking due to renovations and the soap dispensers should be small travel soap instead of large containers.

Undergoing renovations but very nice overall. It was a quick overnight stay (helping our daughter move). Super close to restaurants that are within walking distance. Right next door to Outback! Friendly staff!

Very nice time in Sumter. Everyone was very friendly, bed was very comfortable, and breakfast was great. Bernadette is so very nice. She's the best!

This is an older building but they take care of it. The employees are sooooo freaking friendly and kind. I had an issue with the tub not draining and I mentioned it on my way out and when I came back a couple of hours later it was already taken car of.

The hotel was in a great area surrounded by restaurants and shopping centers. The building itself is old and could benefit from remodeling. The rooms smelled old and moldy.

The night worker who checked us in, she was amazing. She was a black lady with a white patch on her stylish hair, don't know her name so want her to get the praise she deserves. She was amazing. She checked us in with a beautiful smile, helped us with getting extra bedding and my son for got his tooth brush and my husband his razor, so she helped with that too. Not once did she look or sound sour. She has the personality of a saint! She is why I even gave this place a 3. The bathroom was so dirty I didn't let my kids take a bath in there. The black bathroom mold was gross! The blankets smelled gross and musty. The beds were ok though. The counter and sink was clean too but the fridge was filthy and the walls damaged. Will I return? If I do, it will be to meet that lady again. She was the kindest. My family is dairy free so the breakfast was not for us.

The room and hotel was very clean. However, our room smelled very bad, old and moldy. The Breakfast was really good.
