Starting from the front desk you will get highest level of service! Front desk Antonella and her colleagues were always available to help, very professional and friendly. Had answers to all my questions. Their help made my stay just perfect!!! Another people I need to mention- staff at buffet/ restaurant! Very professional! Mariangella, Rose and others!(Sorry I don’t have all names ).. About hotel and surrounding areas- very beautiful, clean, very well maintained and preserved! Love it! Thank you for making my stay unforgettable!

Perfect

This resort-style hotel was an incredible experience on the island of Ischia. Their service and staff were all top professionals and very accommodating for any requests that we had during our stay. The breakfast buffet is impressive, lots of choices and large. Coffee (americano and espressos) were perfect. The pool/grotto and private beach area were both amazing experiences and again the staff for food and drinks was really top level. Amazing bar service inside the hotel, with a live piano player at night as well. The hotel is very vintage Italian in style but seems so clean and well-kept all the time that it felt new. My only criticism would be that the gym and spa areas were okay, but could be better. The spa area in the basement is very nice and quiet. Good saunas and pool. So many other rooms downstairs in the basement, that I wasn’t sure if there was more to offer down there. The gym was small and tucked away by the pool. They have all the basics so you can have decent workout, but I understand this hotel is more for tranquil and relaxing times. They have a shuttle service that will pickup/drop off for the ferry and they even send you off with a little gift. It’s away from the main spots but an easy 5-10 min walk to great shopping and restaurants. We stayed for 3 nights and extended for an extra day after having such a great time! Wish we could have stayed longer, thank you Il Moresco.

no ferries going to ischia because of weather - called property to tell them we can not make it that day but please hold room. the gentleman or maybe not so gentle proceeded to yell at me like a dog and kept screaming I cant get my money back- never even asked for any money back or anything i was just hoping to hold roomand inform them ofoursituation and maybe a suggestion - i stay at many five star hotels never here - go to excelsior across the street they would have handled things quite differently - i wasnteven able to talk they are so desperate i just got screamed at about money - it was on speaker and mu wife was frightened by this man needless to say we did not go who needs to give a place like this the time of day. Ciao!

Great location and excellent service

This was are daughter's graduation from graduate school celebration trip and our 27th wedding anniversary! Our favorite part of our Italy vacation was Ischia! This hotel has the most amazing customer service! A special shout to the front desk staff Pietro. He helped us with so many bookings and was fabulous!

I will start by saying I rarely will give a review, however . . . The Grand Hotel II Moresco & Spa was suggested by friends of ours. We stayed for two days and two nights and it was fantastic. The service was excellent and extremely friendly. One day our plans "fell through" due to weather and the management team helped us rent a car and had it delivered within 30 minutes to the hotel. The room was very nice with a spectacular view. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. I would absolutely stay there again. 5 stars!!!

It was hard to leave this well positioned and beautifully looked after hotel. I got thoroughly used to being pampered after my nine night stay. It's not a large hotel, with perhaps close to 70 rooms, but offers a personalised experience with very helpful staff on hand to assist. For example, when I mentioned that my bed was too firm for my back, corrective measures were immediately put in place by way of a brand new topper, which worked perfectly for me. The front desk staff were always on hand to help; for example, arranging for a rental scooter to be delivered to the hotel, and helping organise excursions. The hotel is located roughly in between the up market Ischia Porte - perhaps closer to this - and the old-world Ischia Ponte. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the end of Ischia Ponte and Castello Arongonese. The castle is definitely worth a visit. More usually I would walk in the evening in the street running down to Ischia Porte, which is full of boutique shops and cafes. However, I ate in the hotel - the food is a real draw and guests come there for that. The restuarant itself has a lot of light and bougainvillea across the ceiling, plus an outdoor section extending into the garden and pool area. Fresh roses on the tables every day. And the food I thought was really special; a lot of effort goes into it. I'd say that the hotel comes across as slightly old-fashioned, both in decor and in style and how it treats its guests. It doesn't compromise. I would go back.

This was a single night stay for our 3rd year anniversary. This hotel gave us an upgrade at check-in, and it made a great impression on us. We had a really nice spacious balcony, and spacious room, not to mention a very clean and spacious bathroom. Everything about the room seemed really well-thought out, such as the design layout in the bathroom, the size of the chairs, and table in the sitting area of the room. The spa, and massage menu were plentiful, but not so many choices you get lost in them and can't decide. The facilities was also very clean. The thermal bath was nice. Service. The service at Il Moresco was paramount to making our experience an enjoyable one. Everything we asked of the staff was taken care of, from asking for an extra pair of bedroom slippers when they got wet, and they brought 2 pairs when we only needed one, to helping us with arranging our return by buying us tickets which benefitted us more than we realized, etc.,

Only a one night stay and some rain; however pool and waterside both very nice, staff attention excellent. Hotel is situated very well at edge of main town, not far from Port, unless walking with luggage. The island taxis are exorbitantly priced, and we felt more use could be made of the hotel shuttle, which was not really offered.
