When we first checked in we were assigned a room and when we arrived to our room it smelt like animals and mold. The room trigged my husband and myself’s allergies right away. I went to the front desk and the gentleman told me every room has had an animal in it, but he was very kind and concerned. He brought us to another room and from there it was a great stay!! I would recommend people to stay here. The location is great!! Staff extremely friendly. If you have allergies it’s not the place for you though. My lesson learned was to ask about pet free rooms.

It was a quick stop for us - priced fairly and our room and facilities were very clean.

First, the location is very inconvenient to get to as you have to drive behind two other hotel chains just to see it, the staff were very curt upon checking us in. Once we reached the room, I have seen more updated amenities in a 1970s porn flick; the room smelled of cigerrets and sweat as if it had not been cleaned in forever, the bed was no bigger than an extended full, and I was not sure what box springs they had it on, but it would sway the mattress anytime the ac breeze hit it. We will not be staying at this location again.

The room was clean and prepared for us, but it was not comfortable at all. The mattress was the very soft marshmallow kind where you sink into the middle with or without a partner, and is terrible for bad backs. Unfortunately, there was only one outlet (no USB outlet) near the bed which meant moving the side table to access it, and only one phone could be charged using it.
There are few food options for delivery nearby that aren't chains, but if you want fast food, the area has you covered. If we had to stay in a suite-style hotel room with a kitchenette for an extended amount of time, we'd have changed hotels after the first night. It just was not comfortable at all.

Our stay was wonderful hotel was clean room was wonderful clean service was wonderful no problems at all we didn't want to leave everything was in close distance my son just returned from Germany to Fort Leonard Wood and he was living 4mins away how great was that we'll be returning for sure thank you candlewood for a great stay

This was our second visit here. Both times I requested a room on the first floor near an exit because we have a small dog and my husband had mobility issues. This time I reserved about a month ahead, but both times we were assigned a room on the 2nd floor. Next time we will find a place that is more responsive to our needs.

This hotel thought of everything! The suites are so comfortable with a separate bedroom and living space. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to serve a meal. I wasnt expecting any of that. Also, those who need a fan to sleep, no worries, the hotel will provide you one free of charge!

I was very impressed with my stay. Very friendly staff and helpful. Maintenance was very prompt when they were needed. Very comfortable room. The only minus was the bedroom tv, it kept turning off by itself and restarting g but Everything else was Great!!! My daughter graduated basic training at Fort Leonard Wood and it was right up the street from the base,very convenient .
