Amazing!

Was expecting so much more from the staff I am very disappointed in how they treated us had a man who did not get a tip and walked out of our room service without closing the door behind him or saying have a nice day. Our room was so humid that everything felt wet and we had to ask her for a dehumidifier.

Staff was great.

The staff are friendly and always available, our rooms were cleaned and replenished daily, the restaurant selection inside the resort are outstanding and the service is excellent. There are plenty of daytime and nighttime activities/programs to keep the guests entertained including circus shows, live music etc. The one main issue I have is that this resort does not have a rollaway bed available upon request. One of us in the room had to sleep on the chaise lounge/couch. The beach was just ok, the water smelled a bit of seaweeds, and the seaweeds are everywhere. All in all, it was still a good trip.

Service was great, food was focused more on quantity rather than quality. I would prefer much better cheifs and bring much better reciepes and menus and cut the amount of resturants to half. The asian resturant for example was extremly dissapointing compared to all the other asain resturants we have been to elsewhere. The korean bbq we went to was literally rice chicken meat and vegetables, which was probobly the worst i could EVER Imagine. There are so many costless and effective ways to make the food in this resturant taste 10 times better than what it is. The food was very dissapointing not going to lie. But the service was great. But trust me most people like myself, prefer taste over anything else you offer in your hotel

We loved the service and hospitality at Excellence. Each staff members we encountered whether front desk, wait staff, housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance, massage therapists seemed to love their work and you can tell they strive to make your stay the best ever. Shout out to Fernando at Chez Isabelle who made our special romantic dinner excellent and had wonderful food recommendations. I also loved our spa experience and Denise was excellent. The place was clean, professional, well kept, and felt safe with excursions and transportation very well coordinated. They were responsive to our needs, including immediately sending a maintenance staff to capture a small lizard that ended up in our room, and finding a lost and found item rather quickly. We liked that this resort was peaceful and for the crowd that preferred a relaxing stay over partying. We would highly recommend this resort and would love to come back again!

We had the most amazing anniversary trip to ERC! We cannot recommend this resort enough. From the beautiful beach to the pools and lazy river to the numerous dining options with incredible variety! But one of the best things about this resort was the staff! Very one was incredibly friendly and treated us like family. You can never be bored at this resort with all the activities going on during the day. We recommend the bike tour with the entertainment staff, tennis and/or pickleball with the amazing tennis pro, Alex, or any of the pool/beach activities! We loved playing volleyball and cards with guests and staff, thanks to Erick for all the fun! We will be back. We so enjoyed meeting everyone at the resort and entertainment every night. You cannot go wrong with a trip spent here.

Fantastic resort. Clean and beautiful. All staff was super friendly and made our stay wonderful. All the restaurants were delicious and had a great small atmosphere.

Wow where to start. The people working at this property were the nicest most friendly people we have ever met working at resort. Santos our pool server was #1! He was so friendly, funny and our family just fell in love with him. He made our stay so much better! Ernesto at the cigar shop was excellent as well! Property is so beautifully well kept and clean. The pools were amazing and expansive throughout the property. The beach was so clean despite it still being seaweed season, the barriers they use keep it out of the beach area so it was amazing. Plenty of palapas to rest under, no need to wake up early to get one. Our room we booked was a swim up room. Very well worth the extra cost to have your own private spot at the pool with beds/loungers and shade. Again no need to wake up early to get a spot at the pool. Restaurants were incredible! Our favourite was the French restaurant. The onion soup and braised pork shank were some of most delicious things I’ve tasted. The lobster at the lobster house was also amazing! The buffet for breakfast and lunch was so delicious! It doesn’t change much from day to day, but there were far too many things to try it didn’t matter. The Japanese teppanyaki table was so fun and food was amazing! The accommodated our 2 rooms to be side by side without issues. Not a single thing didn’t go perfectly.

One of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The staff was amazing. Always happy to help and nice as can be. This place is Luxury and fun blended into a beautiful harmony. They also are on top of dietary restrictions. So accommodating no matter what. We will definitely be back.

This time we decided to stay at the Excellence Riviera Resort. We were greeted with drinks and cool refreshing towels upon our arrival, just like in the Excellence official video. This was our second time at this resort and we loved every second! The restaurants are amazing, staff is wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Love the lazy river! Food is fantastic. Staff is so friendly. The grounds are so beautiful and meticuously kept

The property was very nice. It was just very calm & quiet kind of too quiet.. There’s no music by the pool.. There was nice entertainment some nights but everything is shut down by 11pm they turn off all the lights in the entire resort basically forcing you into your room witch I didn’t like. Also there’s only 1 smoking area they should at least have 3 with the amount of people in the resort. The beach water wasn’t crystal clear blue like the the photos it wasn’t pretty at all I was highly upset about that. The food was good the drinks were very watery. The staff were amazing! We loved beach volleyball it was very fun everyday the instructor was amazing. The rooms were clean the house keeping was great they cleaned multiple times a day I loved it. The water in the pools were alil too warm it should definitely be cooler with it being so hot out. Property was kind of out dated but Overall it was good but I don’t think I’ll return again though.

Had the best time here. The staff was amazing, the place was very clean and the service at all the restaurants was fantastic.

Entertainment was great, staff was very help and attentive. Felt pools could have been cleaner and the food was just okay.

The staff was great! We especially enjoyed working with waiters Santos and Hugo. They were so polite and went out of their way to help us. Just plain fun and enjoyable people.

This was our first visit to excellence riviera cancun and admittedly I am tearing up writing this review as it is time for us to leave. This has exceeded every expectation we ever had…the staff is absolutely exceptional, the property is perfect …there are no words to describe how wonderful this resort is…if you are ever eased enough to have the opportunity to come here please do not hesitate…it’s heaven on earth
