We simply love Nells Park. Wonderful atmosphere with a lot of small qute details. They offer a a hugh breakfast buffe. The park that belongs to the hotel is big and full of roses and birdlife. I recommend to find time for a stroll in the park. We like Nells Park so much that we made a reservation on our way home as well. An extra plus for being a dog friendly hotel, with a special welcome package for the dog.

What i enjoyed was the look of the hotel. The restaurant and staff there was great. What I didnt like was from time to time you could smell the sewer drain in oir room.

took a short vacation on way back from seeing wifes family in Trier, hotel was welcoming set just outside the city ( bus runs regularly) to and fro. Saw all the sites and enjoyed flamkuchen and wine in Weinsinnig stube. Will definetly go back again. Hotel had an excellent 2 tyoes of sauna & steam room we tried out.

The staff at Nells Park understand and practice hospitality well! The service during our stay was fantastic. Rooms and all amenities excellent. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here - both were outstanding. If this hotel was closer to the beaten track, I would rate it 11/10. Highly recommend it!

Hotel situated on the edge of a park. Half hour walk to city centre, bus option, lovely town, many historical sites to visit and great shopping. River trips on the Mosul well worth it.Staff very helpful indeed, excellent restaurant.

A very comfortable hotel in a good location-with parking (5euros a night). This was only an overnight stop so we didnt go into the town as we had visited it previously but I think its close to the centre. We had an excellent evening meal and a good breakfast. There is a nice bar and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel basicly situated in park. About 25 minutes from city center.

We booked a room for 1 night as our son's wedding reception was held at the hotel. When we arrived, we were met by very attentive wait staff. We enjoyed a wonderful light lunch with the wedding party, then checked into the room. What a wonderful, quaint, beautiful, comfortable room! The hotel was very quiet. Staff were alert, attentive and polite. The wedding reception could not have been more delightful. The wait staff were amazing! The food was exceptional. The ambiance was superb. Again, the wait staff need to be acknowledged as very professional. For example, when they were serving the food, they wore white gloves and made eye contact with each other so to set the food on the table at the same moment. We could not have been more impressed. Thank you Nells Park staff for making our visit from California so memorable.

We stayed for three days: staff were freidnly and helpful, room clean with a balcony and view over a park; we could only dine there for one night, but the food was very good and there is a pretty good wine list: we certainly enjoyed the wine we had there.

Such a great, comfortable hotel. It's about 1.5 miles from the city center and all the sites. Public transportation (bus) is easily obtained from the hotel, which sits on Nells Park. The setting is fantastic and the staff is helpful and friendly.

Comfortable hotel, very good staff, good value for breakfast. A little surprised to see some things in the room that needed fixing - not essential things but still looked a little shabby.

Great hotel in Trier. Brilliant staff, very helpful and accomodating. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. We ate our Anniversary Dinner in the Resteraunt in the hotel in the "winter garten". The food was amazing but we were seated uncomfortably close to strangers throughout our meal. The breakfast buffet was delicious and a much better seating arrangment.

Located about 8-10 minutes by taxi from the train station, the hotel is situated on the border of a park. You can catch the local bus to/from the town center at the park entrance across from the roundabout. The front desk staff spoke english and were helpful and courteous. Our room decor is Laura Ashley/country charm. Rooms that face the park are higher priced. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Service was very attentive. There was a very nice selection of quality breakfast items. It was an enjoyable stay. We would return.

An excellent hotel with extremely helpful and efficient staff. We only wished that we had stayed there for longer.

We have stayed at this hotel several times when traveling in this area, and each time we have been very satisfied with the accommodations and the breakfast is delicious! Although it is a distance from the Porta Nigra, it is about a half hour enjoyable walk or if you prefer, the bus station is very close to the hotel. Restaurant Postillion, on Hezogenbuscher Str, is not far away and had great food. I recommend that you try it!

Good hotel, about half the staff speak English. Good breakfast. Couldn't get in the restaurant in the evening so don't know what it is like.

This hotel was very comfortable and charming situated next to a nice park. It is about a mile and a half from town center and Porta Nigra, but there is convenient city bus service located nearby that will get you to the shopping area and train station if you are not up to walking that far. The daily breakfast was wonderful and we looked forward to it each day of our stay. The staff was very helpful and spoke English to help us with any questions. We arrived early and were allowed to check into our room early. There is a nice market nearby if you wish to purchase fresh fruits, bakery items, drinks, or snacks. It was a very nice place to stay and I would stay there again.

Nells hotel has its own spa retreat. So if you stay there, you have to get the couple's bath. The sauna is amazing too. If you get a standard room, the furniture is fairly old and beat up, but the spa retreat and restaurant make up for it.
