Where to start! We have been staying at this property each Thanksgiving for the last 9 years. We had so many issues this trip. We had already decided that we wanted to stay 2 extra days when we arrived. We inquired about extension. You can no longer upgrade, extend or make changes at front desk. You must go through travel agent or Hilton's site. We had to call every morning & evening to have the hot water heater "popped off" so that we had hot water. Sensor in the vanity area went triggered the lights from midnight to 6:00 am. Restaurants closed & there was no warning. We had the TV replaced in our room. Had to call twice to front desk to get the new remote. It is just the little things that can ruin a vacation. I have already begun searching for our new favorite resort in Playa! Beyond disappointed this trip.

The place no longer has a beach due to sea level rise, no place to swim in the ocean

Beautiful facility and plenty of amenities. Great atmosphere, awesome pool parties (with foam), excellent variety of drinks and food included with the all-inclusive option. Some restaurants weren't open on certain days, so call to make sure. Always make dinner reservations a day ahead of time, especially on the weekend. Otherwise, you'll be eating at 10pm, if at all. Staff and shows were fabulous. Did not disappoint whatsoever. The spa was nice, great massages and also has a hot tub, cold plunge, sauna and steam room available. Overall a fantastic experience for me and my wife for our anniversary. Highly recommend and will probably come back here in the future.

The resort was fantastic. All the staff were super friendly. The beach is rocky under the water. Be aware the they will try and sell you a time share when you first get here

Cheapest alcohol, food not much option. We stay in swim out beach front room 3139 ,no privacy At All.people keep passing our porch to visit their friends in our neighbors room.All of them end up soo drunk ,spilling alcohol inside the pool.In one room was around 10 people just have party.We paid almost 600 doll for the room and i felt i stayed in hostel. Inside room is clean and big,but privacy outside our porch its just traffic non stop!Very disappointed!

My husband and I recently booked a 3-day stay at the Hilton Playa del Carmen. This hotel was attractive to us for several reasons: 1- City setting- we wanted to be able to safely do things outside of the hotel without having to spend money on excursions, 2- Adults only, 3- All inclusive 4- Only 45min-1hr from Cancun airport, which is a good compromise for those wanting something a bit more low key than Cancun and without the 2hr drive to Tulum. The PROPERTY is modern, the grounds are very well kept and the rooms are spacious and clean. The space overall is very esthetically pleasing. The SPA- is equally as clean, modern, organized and the staff is there to help every step of the way. I felt so pampered and taken care of. The main POOL is spacious enough for everyone. There’s also a “quiet” pool on the side of the hotel for those that seek less noise. The Bare Foot cafe is conveniently located by the pool for those wanting to grab a light bite without leaving the pool area. The only con is that there’s only one towel station for the whole hotel. RESTAURANTS and buffet are average. The beach at the hotel is rocky but a few feet away the public beach is sandy and very pretty. Margaritas and other cocktails could be better (watered-down). The check-in process was long. That made many guests very unhappy. Definitely needs improvement. Last but not least, the STAFF, these are the people that make the stay at this hotel so much more pleasant and unforgettable. They deserve every tip

Hotel was great and the rooms are good size. All the staff was very accommodating and friendly. There was always something going on at the pool. Great selection of good food.

Great All-Inclusive resort in the heart of playa-del-carmen. The staff was amazing, friendly, went out of their way to make sure every need was met. Rooms are awesome, but property is somewhat dated and needs a refresh. You have to pay to get a good spot at the pool which is a drawback. Food was excellent and choices were good. Overall, great value for the cost.
