The room we were given had torn curtains and had an odor. We asked for a different room and that room was odorless, the curtains were in good shape and the bed was comfortable.

The check in was easy and parking was convenient. There was a little grassy area to walk your dog around. AC worked okay. Saw two roaches and some evidence of a past pest infestation in a drawer. Microwave did not work properly. Said the inside of facilities was smoke free but everything smelled heavily of stale smoke.

The credit card machine was down so had to find a bank to get cash. The pool had a light laying in it with wires so couldn’t use it the hall carpets were dirty But the room was clean and comfortable The staff was great Our room was clean that’s the main thing they had a breakfast with waffles Oh I also got woke up at 3 in the morning on my phone it said red roof wasn’t to happy about that

An hour after getting into my room the electric. Internet, phones and television including the hot water was out. When asked at the front desk when this stuff would be available they said it would be the following day. Before checking out at 11 nothing was still available. You couldn’t even shower due to no hot water. When I spoke to another guy the next morning he got very rude with me and began yelling at me. I just walked out and filed a complaint with the BBB.

Outside the property needs alot of attention as the saying goes eye appeal is buy appeal, garbage overflowing. It needs some outside updates, rooms was clean that's the most important. A bit noisy for me if you're just chillaxing out by the pool.

Staff was very courteous, friendly, polite, and professional. Very nice people especially Trisha/Tricia? My kudos to her whose personality is what “Southern hospitality” is all about. Especially not asking some annoying, boorish rude question like, “Where are you from”? That’s disrespectful, irrelevant, and rude! I will never appreciate that because these folks were all wonderful making it a truly nice place to stay.
Only complaint which was definitely not the hotel’s fault one bit, was the gross and ubiquitous stench of the salty air and putrid seafood. I know the hotel has very little control over it because that’s the Gulf Coast demographics.

Our room was filthy upon checking in. Smelled horrible. There was mold in the freezer, the tub was dirty, the sheets were dirty and stained and the pillowcases had stains and cigarette burn holes. There was a pile of what looked to be dip spit tobacco on the floor next to the bed. There is a stray dog that hangs around the hotel and while normally not a big deal, this is a pet friendly hotel and I had my dog with me. Unsafe having loose dogs hanging around while I’m trying to get my dog to/from the hotel entrance. We checked out and went to the Hilton. Absolutely would not sleep there. The woman at the front desk was very nice and understanding and gave me my pet deposit back no questions.

Original room didn’t have curtains, second room’s linen was dirty, third room was decent but there was something sticky on bedding so I asked if it could be changed or if there were any other rooms available, was told no. Came back later on to stay at the property and upon arrival someone had actually been in the room, they showered, used the bathroom, and had been in the bed. I asked for a refund due to not feeling safe at this property and was told they weren’t going to give me any of my money back even though I didn’t stay one night at this property

Stared off ok but progressively got worse, Continental breakfast was not clean and lacked complete condiments! Did have coffee but only basics. Never cleaned nor changed my sheets or room in 3 day stay only gave extra towels but no wash towels. Even though NO SMOKING ROOMS the corridors smells like POT “cannibas” I would NOT STAY AGAIN even though price was reasonable? Friendly staff but not Professional? Clarence Seagroves!

Still waiting on my refund. As soon as we walked in the room it was a roach the size of a rat on the wall.. the sheets were dirty.. the halls were filthy and the odor was very bad. We did not even stay.

Prepaid with a 3rd party, they said at check in the just need $90 to hold. Normal. They charged me $90.88 for nothing. There wasnt anything to charge to the room. I take videos when i leave to show how it is and i was still recording when i asked when they lift the hold on the $90 the video is of my feet, you just hear the conversation, i always record until i hand in my keys at front desk. I tried through expidia and the hotel itself. No reselsoution. I cant even get the hotel to answer the phone at this point. The 'pool' is a swamp. Liks my adult kids were makinf jokes of what would jump out. So $90 gone, screaming neighbors all night, they even broke the glass on the case in the hallway, a pool but not a pool. Just go somewhere else.

Room was clean. No room service for 2 night stay.
Coffee downstairs is sporadic at best and several days old more than likely. I noticed small amount of coffee in lobby pot the night we checked in. Same amount was there for breakfast next day and none for breakfast the following day. Breakfast? The waffle maker was old, rusty, FLAKING TEFLON. EAT at your OWN RISK! I'm not even sure if the batter was fresh or several days old. Needless to say we went elsewhere for breakfast.
