The staff couldn’t have done more for us. We had such a mare when we arrived to San Pedro, leaving keys to our house back in the UK and having to book a last minute hotel. Thankfully we relaxed as soon as we stepped foot into Traíña. Reception staff were lovely. Allowed us to check in early, upgraded our room to a huge terrace, explained where everything was and how it all works. Made us laugh and feel so much better about our situation! Rooms were super clean and spacious, friendly housekeepers in the morning, aircon units were clean and refreshing, fresh towels every morning. Small fridge in the room to hold your waters. €10 deposit per pool towel which they allow you to take to the beach as well. Small rooftop pool with sun loungers - this was a lovely view of San Pedro! Friendly evening reception staff who are always happy to chat. Oh and location! Surrounded by restaurants, 15min walk to mar menor and salt lakes, small fairground at the bottom of the road with evening markets. Spoilt for choice in terms of bars, cafes and restaurants. Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, they couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

This place was fantastic for customer service. They really went out of the way to be helpful. They insisted we moved to a nicer room!!! Nice pool on the roof but uncomfortable sun beds and out of season so no covers available. Breakfast is not worth it, go down to the local panaderia instead. Fabulous coffee and amazing staff made it a great stay. Rooms are basic but comfortable. It's not a 4 star but very clean, great staff and good location

We liked everything about this hotel!

Nice, clean and comfortable. Good value as well I was particularly impressed with the menu del dia at 12 Euros.

Well received at the hotel but had to phone reception at 1am to complain of the noise on our floor the person on reception rectified the matter.

The location was perfect for us are we were there for Pinatar Cup, the walk was a good one but manageable on a daily basis. The room was ok and the fridge was a real positive. TV was small and had BBC London and no other English channels, beds were very comfortable but pillows were hard. Breakfast was ok, not much variety as the same everyday was out and in other hotels tends to be some changes especially at the weekend. Reception staff friendly and very helpful, couldn’t asked for them to be more helpful. Pool was tiny and freezing but perhaps the wind in the summer would be perfect but not in March. Not a 4 star hotel but a very pleasant 3 if you were asking me!

Lovely helpful staff, and clean hotel

This is our second time to stay in the Traina and found it delightful. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, especially Veronica - a gem. We loved the roof top terrace experience and the location is perfect, within an easy walk to most amenities in the area. This is what hospitality should be like.

The hotel and staff were good in particular the young guy on reception with dark hair and glasses.....It feels more like a business hotel. Lots of great places to eat around the hotel

Only one night but good clean family hotel well run and maintained. Better than franchised hotels at that price.

Good hotel with excellent staff but I would rate it more 3 star than 4 star. Bedroom was a bit cramped with only one bedside table (insufficient room for two). Restaurant had good selection of food but eg no tablecloths, so overall felt slightly less than 4 star experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fish / meat cooked to order on show cooking hotplate. Hotel is about 7 minutes walk to the sea through pleasant back streets.

We only stayed one night here, but would certainly go back to this hotel. Check-in was easy, the staff polite, easy to find and parking immediately outside it on the street. Lovely pool but was too cold mid October to venture in! The buffet breakfast was ok.

We spent three days. The hotel is quiet and it has good air conditioning. The food is good but it is expensive unless it is included in the price. The staff is very helpful and kind. The place is clean well located. A 1/2 km. to the Mar Menor. You can bike or drive to open sea.

My experience is very good, nice hotel and close to the beach

Stayed for a week in September 2015 and found the hotel very good. We had a balcony and inside there was no noise from other rooms. The beds were very comfortable and the room nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was OK, with plenty of choice, eggs, bacon, cereal, meats, fruit etc. The beach is a 10 minute walk and there are sun beds for hire. We managed without a car and took the bus to Cartegena (well worth a visit), the stop is 100 yards or so right out of the hotel on the opposite side. There is an excellent Michelin restaurant 5 minute walk again right out of the hotel (Juan Mari).

nice hotel...better than nice, very nice...had a lovely room ... cheap off internet....hardly anyone there, restaurant and bar deserted...in fact Monday night hardly anything open in town but taxi driver directed us to a great little restaurant....(walk past Restaurant Venuzuela..closed Monday... to the taxi rank and look up the little road to the right...lit up 100 yds...great Spanish place..sorry cannot remember name!) didnt have time to use or even see facilities of hotel.....pool breakfast was very basic....but fresh bread and croissants, juices plenty really...not a great British fry up (thank goodness!) but it was also cheap.... reception staff extremely nice...no problem with wireless code or internet...just one real big problem...the room was sweltering hot in the middle of the night...March 3rd...
