The food is not very good value so we ate out on our second night. There was a great choice for breakfast but it was clear to see that the cooked breakfast, and in particular the bacon was not cooked fresh.
We loved everything else and appreciated the small touches such as The White Company products and fresh milk!
Our son thought the pool was amazing!
We would return.

Last minute booking but after waiting over 10 minutes at the restaurant entrance with no front of door in attendance they couldn’t fit a single person in for a meal saying they were over booked even though there was empty tables.
Hotel room, pool was ok. Breakfast was plentiful.

Very disappointed - hotel was dark inside and a bit tired. The bar had a big queue and only 1 member of staff. Ridiculous on a Sat night when they were fully booked.
Didn’t bother to eat or drink there.
Room far too hot, but couldn’t have the windows open as the road noise was too loud.
Felt like a Premier Inn but not as good.

Excellent! I would give ten starts if I could! Every little detail has been thought of for myself and my two children.
A proper cot NOT. A travel cot had been put out not only with bedding but a fluffy blanket and everything. Fresh cookies juice and a treat all waiting them! They even had slipper and a dressing gown in their sizes (toddler and teen) the whole thing was fab.
The only downfall was the swimming that children could attend was 8-10am which is very early for on holiday. After that it was later in the afternoon.9-12 would be much better.

Lovely hotel in gorgeous gardens.
Visited the restaurant and we weren’t disappointed, the choice of menu was exceptional as was the quality of food at a reasonable price.
Loved the little milk urns that you filled up freshly for your in room hot drinks. Having a fridge in the room is always a bonus to keep water cold.
Loved the White Company toiletries, a real luxury.

Very limited menu choice at least 4 different things of the desert menu and mains and starters were no longer available due to being busy.
And wanted to charge us £30 extra in the morning to use the spa until 11am we didnt check in until 6pm.

The hotel is amazing and the room was spacious and had everything we would need. The spa was busy but usable and everything was clean and tidy.

Had a fantastic weekend break with my wife for a birthday celebration. Lovely meal in the restaurant on the first night. Spa is great to relax. Would definitely recommend.

Was disappointed that our bedroom and bathroom were unheated when we arrived at 7pm and we sat in our coats for 20 minutes whilst reception reset the heating. I found the automatic bedroom temperature overnight insufficient. I would have prefered the heated towel radiator to be functioning to dry our wet bath towels and heat the area. I would be reticent to stay again. It is maybe different in the summer?
I didn't dine so can't comment. My husband used the Spa and enjoyed the facilities.

We go here once a year so are familiar with the hotel, staff and overall facilities. It was a bit disappointing tho hot tub was out of order in the morning as we always pay extra to use the spa and this is the only facility apart from the pool we use. Overall nice relaxing stey though.

Room is great - gorgeous pillows!
Great to see trying to make efforts to reduce single use milk plastics - it was a little tough to find the milk dispenser though as I couldn’t find one on my floor - but minor issue.
Restaurant in the morning was a little chaotic - quite a queue to get in and then issued getting my order to go thru, then 2 portions of the same thing came
I get you make to order ti reduce food waste on the buffet but you jeee to have a simpler menu to reduce the time the host has to spend to explain the menu and want is included and what you have to pay extra for - it just makes you have a queue at the entrance!

Amazing hotel so many touches to detail whatever was needed was there. Staff went out of their way to help the bed linen was super great choice of pillows unlimited milk and water from the dispensers at the end of the corridor from Daisy the cow and a water filter machine. Comfortable sofa and chair at the table/desk just could not wish for more the towels in the bathroom were lovely. Dining and breakfast were excellent.

Was more to do with what I was paying for and different members of staff was saying different things because I asked does the extra cost your charging me does that include my breakfast dinner also spa pass it’s just I dunno why to say then on last day of checking out being asked to pay for my breakfast after being told that was paid for, for the 2 nights I was staying and also being accused of smoking in your hotel room too found that a bit of an insult too concidering I don’t smoke indoors at home. But other that I did enjoy my stay 🙂

Are in the bar which was quiet and cosy. Good food too.
Pool area was very busy due to some wedding parties that were there, but still not ridiculously overcrowded. Also, considering there were weddings going on on property, didn’t hear any of the noise. Would definitely stay again!
