The best part about the hotel is the view ! Omg the ocean view balcony room is soooo amazing! Waking up to the ocean is just otherworldly! The guy at the front desk, older gentleman is super welcoming and funny !
The only thing I really didn’t like was the outdated look of the room. Very motel 6 , very 90s. Just not as luxurious as the outside would have you to believe. The water was luke warm not hot AT ALL! And I woke up to loud music being played from the other room of closet or idk ! It was odd!

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service
I recently stayed at Emerald Shores in Daytona Beach, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process.
The room was spacious, well-designed, and impeccably clean, with comfortable beds. I particularly enjoyed the ocean view with spacious balcony.
Location-wise, the hotel was ideal, conveniently situated near the beach and all restaurants.
Overall, my experience at Emerald Shores was outstanding. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and prime location made this stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Daytona Beach and look forward to returning.

My wife and I always stay here. We get a balcony facing the ocean. And just sit and watch the waves. This will have been our 11th time there in total. Thanks to the staff, always so friendly and helpful.

Pro: on the beach Con: seaweed piled in the stairwell. Pro: had a hottub Con: hottub was broken. Pro: breakfast provided Con: it was PopTarts and yogurt. The people giving 4-5 stars must have only ever stayed in rent-by-the-hour in downtown Detroit.

The beds were comfortable the rooms could use some slight updating the hot tub outside was not hot it was like a lukewarm the water in the room did not get very hot at all you could smell pot when you were outside on the balcony the staff were absolutely amazing and very helpful.

Our view from the balcony was incredible. Marc was especially helpful and accommodating when my credit card was locked for possible fraud. Appreciate you working with us while this was sorted out. Can't wait to come back to Emerald Shores!! We had a perfect stay for our anniversary weekend! Thanks again! ~Andrew

Front desk help was amazing. But the first room we were in was damp and had mold. Front desk was kind enough to move us to a different room.
The “breakfast” is definitely needing improvement.

I was disappointed at the lack of hot water you had to let the water heat up for 5 minutes before you could use it and then that was on straight hot also the pots and pans were horrible and the kitchenette was practically useless but the friendlyness of the people working there made up for a lot The one room without a kitchenette was actually a lot nicer than the kitchenette so I was disappointed at having paid so much more to have a kitchen that was pretty useless.

This hotel is a bit older, and has a vintage feel. The iron beds were both attractive and comfortable. The staff is amazing! And the complimentary breakfast was decent. There are really no bad views from any room windows! We were able to walk down to the beach and watch the sunrise over the ocean! Lovely experience overall. I would definitely stay there again! The whole family enjoyed our stay

The staff overall awesome, friendly, helpful. We had oceanfront room directly on water, couldn’t beat view. Room was good except for bathroom, really pretty bad, needs remodeling, the rest of the room was great, comfortable beds. Morning breakfast sad and lacking…great coffee but… pop tarts, really?

The staff was amazing. So friendly and so funny. The only problems we encountered is that there was no real hot water. The shower was stuck between bath and shower. And the AC leaked into the room. What's up

There were roaches in the room and we did not stay the night. There is no bar it is non functional please remove that from your advertising.

Our "balcony" was a first floor room right at the hot tub/pool. It was not swept, had cigarette butts on it. Everyone there but us must have been smoking weed, as that was a strong aroma. All exit doors were closed except one in and out to the pool (besides the front door). Didnt seem safe for that reason or the fact i looked outside our balcony at 130 am and a man was walking about 4 foot away at the pool area.

Maybe just our room- but it had gummy dust , dirt in for corners , broken towel rack, broken toilet cover which was glued back together, inadequate kitchen utensils. Bugs, but that is normal for Florida (pinchers and fruit flies. Need a good thorough cleaning. Area carpets are dirty. But, what lacks in these areas , some of the staff makes up for ut- such as Karen.

It was absolutely amazing. my husband and I came and stayed 4 nights for the NASCAR 400 and so I could see the ocean for the first time. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is just a short drive to a lot of attractions. We got an email saying the pool and jacuzzi was down for repairs, but by the time we got there, everything was fixed and opened back up. Will definitely book there again.

Overall this property had everything we were looking for. Great location to get to the speedway for the race. We had a city view room and could see the speedway from our window. Room was clean and comfortable. You can definitely tell the hotel is older but there were newer floors in our room. I purchased a king bed room but I don’t think the bed was actually a king, it felt more like a queen. The bed though was very comfortable. Pool was clean and easy access to the beach. The tiki bar is not in service currently but wasn’t an issue for us. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly! I would definitely stay here again.

The property was nice, lovely pool and hot tub. Staff was very friendly at check in/out. The room was clean and comfortable. The tv was a little iffy, very slow to work, and the continental breakfast was lacking. Overall it was a good stay. I will consider again if traveling to Daytona.

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The continental breakfast is perfect. Mark at the front desk makes you feel like you’re at home with family! I will definitely go back!
