The area is lousy and the images don't show the real deal. It is a distance from the city and the upkeep is rather poor. I am surprised that it has the Maldron name on top. It needs TLC.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at the hotel would recommend it to everyone roms very clean.. Bed very comfy also the bedding Breakfast hot or cold good variety excellent quality Would come back Pool excellent swan everyday our 13 grandson loved it

Comfortable rooms, decent food on site but not super walkable to other things. Taxis and ride share easily available though, so easily overcome.

It’s a nice hotel but I had several small service problems; like I could not get the soap dispenser in the shower re-filled and it took days for them to fix the lock on my room door so it would open without me going down to the front desk.

Rooms were clean and well appointed. Provided a great location for touring the South/West corner of Ireland.

This hotel is quite dated and not particularly close to anything nearby (you need a car or taxi to get to dining). We stayed 2 nights and the coffee/waters/tea cookies did not get refreshed. No air conditioning and it was quite warm in the room (a bit too warm for a good sleep)

It is kind of far from downtown. We used bus transportation. Hotel needs some renovations

Area around hotel not very nice but hotel is very nice with very helpful staff loved the breakfast which I payed 15 Euros for Lots of different choices of food and drink the bar area also nice also loved the underground ground car park that has security shutters that lock at night

Check in first, THEN you can scan your room card to access underground parking, which has convenient access to the elevator to the hotel rooms. Check-in was easy, staff was great, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable. Optional breakfast was amazing--very nice restaurant setting with so many food options. There's also a small Aldi grocery store literally around the corner. There appears to be a nice central courtyard with trees and a few tables/chairs for when it's not raining, but its convenience for cigarette smoke prevented us from using it.

Beds were comfortable. Room was very hot. You can hear the doors shutting and smell the cigarette smoke from other rooms even though it was a nonsmoking room

Great options for gluten free meals, good restaurant and lively bar. Staff very helpful and friendly. Ideally situated for business park.

Plastic sheets on the bed you just sweat! Nowhere used these anymore so uncomfortable. Shower very low and tight space, shower curtain sticks to you and the handrail means you can’t turn around.

Very run down. Room was very tired. Carpet was coming up and the bathroom was slightly mouldy. Door frame in the bathroom was rotten. Bedding was itchy and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Staff were nice though

Food at restaurant was fair. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and gave us some good tips on touring and restaurants. Our room was fine, clean, airy and conveniently located. The restaurant was a bit 'wacky' in its colour scheme but the food was fine.

Quick checkin and checkout, room was clean and comfortable. Lots of parking under the hotel which made getting luggage to and from room/ car very easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant was great also. Great value for money would stay again.

It was a nice place to stay, the staff was super nice and helpful. It is a little bit far from the center of the city, but it is a wise choice if you don't mind the transportation. Would recommend staying here!

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. Helping us alter our booking and taking time to do so. Breakfast was good.

Rooms are dated. But clean. Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast was decent.

We arrived early 1:00 asked could we go in early or come back later the clerk said yes 20 min, so we stayed. He kept saying another 20 min till finally allowed to the room at 2:45. We left the room they made the room up well away, got back the door was a jar. Talked to reception they said they will retrain staff and all was good I said no they basically said to bad. The internet took 3 min to down down load basic e mail could not open attachments. Internet usless

There was an industrial fan for the swimming pool outside our window on 24/7 we couldn’t sleep whatsoever reception didn’t care would pass on message to manager

I like the fact that we were moved after complaining about loud noises, and to a much better room that did not look like it was the titanic.

Front-of-house staff on check-in are ALWAYS so unfriendly. There is one lady in particular. Thin with black hair, she never had a name tag on but checked me in on 3 occasions, never getting a hello out of her or anything. She looks like someone has just run over her puppy all the time. I have stayed here 4 or 5 times now and there service from her is a shocking as the last. Normally I get food delivered to the hotel as I have tried the menu in the restaurant and want something different. Normally I let reception know I am ordering and ask if they let me know when the driver arrives so I can come down. Normally this isn't an issue, but during this weekend's visit, she told me "It wasn't a service they offer?!" a courtesy call isn't a service?! 150 euro a night, I think this isn't a big ask! 5 nights I have stayed here and the service hasn't improved. I won't be back.
