This hotel is very well located. The walk to the beach and ferry area is very short and they are a bunch of small shops on the way to the beach. There are several restaurants close to the hotel. The walk back to the hotel was not bad but if you don’t feel like walking back there a bus that will stop in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is really nice, good breakfast and the rooms are nice. I would definitely stay at the punta Regina hotel again. They will also arrange transportation for you if you need it. It is not cheap but it makes it so much easier especially the first time you go.

Had an excellent stay in Punta Regina. Staff at the facility are just wonderful (esp. Francesca and señor Stick). The property has modern amenities with classic charm. Loved having breakfast (included) and swimming on the rooftop terrace. Will definitely be back!!!

Staff were incredible. No ask was too big - they did everything they could to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

We spent two nights here, what a delight. The room was amazing, huge king bed with the promised sea view, and an amazing view at that. The breakfast was wonderful. For my 54 birthday they brought us champagne with strawberries. Everyone said happy birthday. The road down to the city center was nice with scenic spots on the way. The stairs, about 300 to city center, is a cute walk. The walk up is doable, about 10 minutes and leaves you a bit out of breath, but much needed exercise. The pool deck felt like 80 and it was 54 outside. Service above and beyond and would definitely return. I did a lot of research and this was worth every penny. Amazing property.

All I can say is the view from this hotel while you are eating your complimentary breakfast is absolutely amazing! The roof also has a little pool which is perfect to cool off after a hot summer day and to admire that amazing view some more. The room itself was very clean and had cute Italian charm to it. The staff were also very helpful. They would answer any questions we had and made us feel welcome.

What an incredible place - positano is stunning! Francesca, gieseppe, and all the staff so friendly at punta Regina. If you get lost, locals will even come show you the way. What a special place! Very different from the people in France - in Italy they hep you and are so kind. Beautiful beautiful beautiful. We will be back.

Fabulous staff who were incredibly accommodating! Especially a woman named Francesca who has been there for 10 years. Not much in the way of food other than breakfast, but so many restaurants right outside the door, including Positano's most "IN" restaurant of the moment. The staff made our stay a pleasure!

View is unparalled, room fantastic and spacious for Italy. Pool is a bonus not available in many other hotels in Positano.

Even though it was high season, for $350 euro a night and claiming itself as a 4-star hotel, I expected a bit better service than I received. Would I stay here again? Likely not. Firstly, the hotel is high up in Positano. If you arrive by Ferry, be prepared to drag your luggage up cobble-stone alleys, steps and then the main paved road, all uphill. Apparently there are porters you can pay but I only found this out after I did the journey. The room was clean, but the shower and sink plugs were shut (I found that odd). While taking a shower, I opened up the plug, the water didn't drain. The maintenance guy came soon enough and worked on it for 30minutes. He had to rip the whole plug out, which meant I was only able to take a shower, not a bath, which I was looking forward to. He also told me to re-direct all complaints to the reception in a matter-of-a-fact tone. The security box was difficult to understand so he explained it to me rather abrasively. Furthermore, my room smelled foul (like sewage) that night and morning, and the toilet was bubbling. I truly think there was a problem with the drain pipes.The woman at the front desk acted shocked and semi-apologetic, but no compensation was offered. The breakfast is a decent brunch on the rooftop but be prepared to eat beside other guests using the small pool right next to you and sunbathing. The pool also closes at 6:30pm. On the plus side, the hotel was clean & safe.The reception was quick to correspond before trip.

Positano is already a beautiful place to visit and Punta Regina made our stay very memorable, from the great location - half way up the main road with bus stop opposite the entry - to the attentive staff, comfortable, spacious clean stylish coastal themed accommodation, fantastic terrace and pool with amazing views of the coastline - delicious breakfast choice which varied a little each day and great coffee - plus great restaurants choices in easy walking distance - there is not much more that is needed other than a longer stay in this idyllic location - will definitely stay in this boutique hotel again.

Staff are kind, friendly and helpful, always welcome guest with warmly smile. The hotel location is a bit far away from the town and SITA bus station. The decorations are a bit outdated.

Fantastic property and amazing staff. Breakfast on the pool deck each morning was a surprising highlight. Our only nitpick was extremely slow Wi-Fi. Luckily, we rarely needed the internet because the friendly staff was eager to help with any needs, questions or recommendations.

Francesca at Punta Regina helped us book and plan out every day which was so nice! She did go above and beyond. The men that prepared and served food on the upstairs patio were also very hospitable and helpful!

It is only a small hotel 19 rooms so the staff really get to know you. Everyone is very friendly and extremely helpful they booked all our day trips and transfers and there was never an issue. Rooms are very clean [ the staff are constantly cleaning] and very spacious beds very comfortable. The terrace with the pool and breakfast room has a beautiful view of Positano The breakfast was great We had 8 nights still not long enough Thank you to all the staff for a great holiday.

I was disappointed by this hotel after reading previous reviews. I found the room on the ground level very noisey at night as it was situated close to the main road. This meant I could not get a proper sleep. Apart from this the hotel was very good and the reception staff were helpful.

I enjoyed my stay at Punta Regina. There was charm, great service, and a great breakfast. The only 2 down points was the internet was constantly going down, and wish the view had been better. I think the first is more due to a faulty internet service provider.
