Pleasant and comfortable room.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, but small. The fridge was also small. Breakfast is your typical hotel meal. They charge an additional $15/ night for parking and the hotel is much already more expensive than ones with larger rooms out on the highway that offer free parking. You are definitely paying for location! The hotel is easy walking distance of the water front, which is certainly nice. I felt it was way overpriced for what we got - it's not like you actually see the waterfront. Next year when I am passing through town again I will stay on the highway. The hotel was nice enough, but absolutely not special enough to warrant the price.

It is close to the 1000 Islands tour pickup and in the heart of the city

I liked that the room was close to the harbourfront, the fridge and microwave in my room and the continental breakfast. I did not like the musty smell in my room, the stained carpets in my room, the stained blankets/pillow cases, mould in the bath area, the air condition unit barely worked to cool down the room. The room was way over priced for basically a motel. I paid over 7 hundread dollars for 2 nights NEVER AGAIN!!!

The beds were excellent. Our room was not made up on our second day and the bathroom needed a thorough cleaning. TV reception was inconsistent. Fridge froze everything, even after turning it back.

The good part, breakfast very good and very nice friendly staff. The bad, paying for parking. Never had any other place in Gananoque charge for guest parking. A sign from the hotel on the car should be able to weed out non guests parking. Our room carpet had stains, bathroom had paint peeling and the toilet seat stained. Hotel definitely needs sprucing up. Overpriced for what you get other than proximity to both the town and lake. We visit Gananoque a few days each year but don't think we'll come back to this inn.

Computers were down at check-in. Front desk staff were very apologetic but embarrassed until told over the phone how to handle the situation. Other than that a pleasant stay.

It is the only major name hotel in the town itself. A beautiful location that is close to the water. You can walk everywhere. The downside is you have to pay the hotel for parking.

Close to water and cruises. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but free. Mini fridge with freezer was useful. Pool was clean but vold and no shower or washroom. Gym was small but had treadmill, elliptical, spin bike and fred weights. Bathroom light and fan went on together which was annoying.

The Comfort Inn in Gananoque had the best location of any hotel property in the city -- at the corner of Main Street and King Street, an easy walk to the water and the tour boats down Main Street and a to the downtown restaurants on King Street. But be advised, there is no elevator in the hotel and no luggage carts. We had to carry our luggage down the hall and up to the second floor. Not a problem for mobile people but certainly an issue for older patrons. We also found that the room description of our room was not accurate. The Hotels.com web site described our King Suit with Jacuzzi as having a separate bedroom (it was just a standard bedroom, bathroom arrangement, withthe Jacuzzi in the bedroom area). The listing also said "parking available" and indicated in the more information area that "Guests love the free parking." We had to pay $15 per day for parking, plus tax. Perhaps it was because it was the high tourist season, but it was not something we anticipated.

The place was quite nice, clean but I thought a bit overpriced. Plus I had to pay for parking on top of the room rental.

Wonderful staff and perfect location. I didn’t think it was fair to charge such a high rate for parking however, and didn’t like that all the dishes and cutlery were paper/plastic throw away for the breakfast.

For a motel, we found it expensive and the first time we have paid for parking at a motel.
