Charming old inn

Has seen better days. Some loud guests. Breakfast very basic

Don't go there, the place is absolutly filthy. The bathroom was disgusting, specially the shower handle bars who reeked and were orange. I tried to wash it off with a towel, it was outrageously disgusting, (see the photo) and that's only one of the 3 handle bars. I reported it to the reception, they told me nonchalantly to talk about it with booking.com. They did not take responsability or offer any kind of excuses. We had to shower with slides on and were afraid to touch anything. Also the AC unit was making an infernal noise. By far the worst experience I had in a hotel/motel.

The Resort was out of date and the amenities in our room were under par

Fridge didn't work, electrical plugs were in need of repair - unsafe

Clean and comfortable, fireplace was lovely. Grounds were well kept.

Hot water was only luke warm and the bathroom sink was blocked. Unfortunately once we checked out, they charged us for taking towels, which we did not do. That was a big disappointment.

Very bad ventilation. I could not sleep at all . i want to leave this hotel as soon as possible and get refund for the rest stay.

The room was nice with a King Bed and Fireplace.

We could have used more glasses and the floor was not so clean. Breakfast was ok. We prefer a hot breakfast.

I liked the grounds.

There was a hole under the old and damaged flooring in the middle of the room so I felt the need to wear shoes inside. Eew. The smell of disinfectant was horrible. But a bottle of extra strength Fabreeze and turning on heating and air con fan helped with that. Note: one lousy pillow person.

It was expensive for what you got but that I think has more to do with pandemic recovery and inflammation. It was an ok room pillows and bed where below standard room was dark, bathroom fundamental. Clean and a pretty location. Great for a no fuss place to stay
