they room was very clean, breakfast was great and always plenty. About 1 - 2 min walk to the 1000 islands cruise docks.

Definately need be transparent there are no elevators. Rooms in the original building need to be updated as well as rugs in rooms and halls. Adequate towels and amenities in rooms. We had an upgrade room with a patio but outside patios not well cleaned- no dividers between rooms for privacy and people smoking on patios is irritating to those that do not smoke. Excellant breakfast offered at the hotel.. easy to walk to most restaurants in area and the waterfront. Overall good value.

The area we were in was wonderful. Most everything was in walking distance. The town was great. The hotel was excellent. My only problem was the bed was too hard for me.

This hotel says it has suites. If you go by the “suites” we were given this is not the case. Our first room was rated as a suite because it had a jacuzzi in the room. This room didn’t even have room to sit and only offered one office chair. The room smelled like mold, I assume because of the jacuzzi and the bed was extra firm. We asked to change room and the woman at the desk was great in giving us another room. The second room was a bit better but was still small with no real room to sit.

One night stop. Use this hotel frequently going between Ontario and Nova Scotia. One of our favourites. And Gananoque is so scenic.
Wish they had recycle bins in the room and breakfast room. And wooden utensils would be better than plastic.

THE PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK GREET YOU WITH HELP ING ABOUT YUOR STAY AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING ON YOUR STAY THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE BEDS VERY COMFORTABLE THE MORNING BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD ESPACIALY THE EGGS AND PANCAKES I ATE IN GENERAL ALL WAS GREAT FOR BREAKFASTLOVED THE STAYWILL RETURN AGAIN HERE

We stayed there for one night. the front desk lady at the night we checked in seemed unfriendly, but it was OK. we did not expect too much for a night as the main reason was to visit 1000 Islands and go to Montreal.

We have stayed here before….loved it then, and loved it this time as well. It’s a 5 minute walk to the city cruises 1000 island boat launch. Many restaurants close by… walking distance or a short drive. The casino is a short 5 minute drive away.
The hotel is very clean and the buffet breakfast is wonderful. Check in was perfect & front desk are helpful and kind. We didn’t use the indoor pool but it looked clean & wasn’t busy at all. Our jacuzzi king bed room was very nice. We will definitely stay here again.

Beds were not that comfortable and we had to pay 16$ per night for parking which was supposed to be free.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, but small. The fridge was also small. Breakfast is your typical hotel meal. They charge an additional $15/ night for parking and the hotel is much already more expensive than ones with larger rooms out on the highway that offer free parking. You are definitely paying for location! The hotel is easy walking distance of the water front, which is certainly nice. I felt it was way overpriced for what we got - it's not like you actually see the waterfront. Next year when I am passing through town again I will stay on the highway. The hotel was nice enough, but absolutely not special enough to warrant the price.

Debbie at the front desk is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable.
I didn't like paying extra for a balcony and not being able to enjoy it because of people smoking below me. I had to stay inside to avoid the smoke.
