It was a great experience for the mist part except someone was above our room walking heavily back and forth in the wee hours of the morning. Despite that, the hotel staff was pleasant and professional. The hotel was lovely and they had a shuttle to the Foxwoods Casino. Will definitely return for a longer stay.

The pool was pretty dirty and overall the hotel wasn’t in great shape. We ended up getting really sick after we swam there for a couple days and the pool was full of hornets both living and dead lol. We still had a great time and honestly it wasn’t terrible for the price especially since it was one night. There was no food available at the hotel but lots of options nearby and it’s a beautiful area. Moving forward, though, I think I’d spend the $50-60 extra for the Hilton.

Should be stated in description that restaurant and bar are only open on Friday and Saturday. Went to check in at 1:10 on a Monday with hardly any other guests there and was told it would be a $39.00 charge. Sohad to come back after 2 pm. No breakfast but said there was a coffee bar. Also shuttle to Foxwoods only runs on weekends.That only consisted of a thermos of coffee, one of decaf and one of hot water. Beds were really soft, not good for back. Probably would find another place to stay if in area again.

It was comfortable and clean for our 4 day stay in Connecticut. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noise from the heater/ac unit.

this was a pleasant place to stay for 4-5 days ,Very convenient location, fresh coffee in the lobby served daily, good quality bedding and towels and large screen TV in the rooms. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

My wife and I were excited to stay at the Bellissimo to celebrate her Birthday. I booked the hotel room through the app and asked for a Venetian room to make things extra special. When I checked in, I was surprised I was getting the basic room and questioned the person at the front desk. He said this was typical when you book through the app and not directly with the hotel. I will know better next time.

Beautiful hotel paid for the room I did not get and the staff are all rude ordered room service. They told me they had none but they rarely did. I paid extra money for the heart shaped Jacuzzi didn’t get what I wanted

The bed was so uncomfortable the mattress was awful. Just a foam piece of nothing no spring or softness. The bistro was not good breakfast was gross and the drinks were terrible.

Overall, the hotel sure looks nice, but we had a few issues while staying.
First was our door didn't close shut fully. Even though you could close it, it didn't 'click' shut, which allowed you to push it open, if you wanted. When we told the staff they were like 'oh, did you pull up on the door after you closed it?' like that was a standard action for closing a door. They came by to look at it and instead of fixing it or giving us another room, just showed us how to close the door by lifting it up.
While the room was in good shape, the walls are extra thin. We could hear folks talking outside and in the hallway most of the night. They weren't even shouting, just normal talking.
The staff was very nice and helpful (except for the door thing), but I doubt we'd go back here again.

Unfortunately the building was poorly built so, being on the 2nd of 3 floors we heard every footstep from above. In addition, the thin walls meant hearing our neighbors until late at night.

Very loud. The walls don’t block noise. Some kids outside the front door were having a loud conversation at 3am and I could hear it from my room 150 ft away on for 30 minutes straight. So could probably everyone else in the hotel. Also someone upstairs was playing early 2000s radio music all night. The room triggered my asthma (maybe dust mites in the blankets)

Based on the website, I expected more from this hotel. It was just okay. Nothing special. The decor in rooms and common areas seemed dated; the room/bathroom wasn't particularly clean. On check-in, we were not asked if we wanted housekeeping, so had to call on Saturday to request it and we told we needed to schedule it. How is one supposed to know that???
Also, the room above us must have had elephants in it. The constant noise, while it was occupied was terrible. Every time someone got up in the night, my friend and I were both awakened. There was a group of young women across from us (a bacherlorette party) was extremely loud. Again, we heard them in and out of their rooms repeatedly, late at night. The hotel was so noisy.
Definitely would not stay here again; nor would I recommend it.
