Beautiful hotel Clean, modern and quiet! Highly suggest getting one of the bottom floor rooms walking out to the pool!

The room itself was decent. We didn't care for the sink outside of the bathroom when you are there with other people. Also, we were not told ahead of time that it's $25/nt per pet. It just says pet friendly. So that was an unfortunate surprise. Would probably stay somewhere else next time for those reasons.

Hotel was very clean but very over priced for what you get.

The room was very old and small. It was a shoe box. The chair in the room should have been thrown out damaged and worn out. No one observed the rules they smoked everywhere.

Could use some fixing on a few things. Quite a bit of rust, broken furniture etc. Service was great though definitely no complaints there.

I would love to say we had a great stay. The hotel could be a really cute, nice hotel. Cosmetically, some paint, new furniture, and some deep cleaning. Our locks on the door would not lock, had to have it completely changed to a new lock. We were moved 3 times due to air not working, door not locking.. sadly I feel the photos on the website are deceiving. If it would be a little more updated, and cleaned I would stay again.. for the price. Pros were the beach with not at all crowded at this location.

I brought my dog with me. The room I booked smelled really moldy. I switched to a balcony so my dog could sit with me. Front desk was very accommodating. I think $50 a night for a dog is alittle extreme. No smoking in public areas. I know its gross but I'm very curtious when it comes to that. People were drinking BOTTLE beer around the pool. Neighbors below broke glass on their patio. Someone was smoking weed. (IDC) but I got a call about smoking on my patio. Beds were comfy and air worked great.

Room was ok but the overall experience was something to remember. My wife and I along with my 2 year old daughter got stuck in the elevator for like 45min, the call button didn’t work, phone service wasn’t so good so we couldn’t call the front desk. The only option was to call 911, & the only thing was said is the it was the lighting that caused it to not work. They never offer us a free night or nothing.

The room was missing part of the safety lock. Paint was peeling in numerous locations around the room. Furniture overall had worn spots and was peeling paint. State of room definitely not worth the price we paid. Breakfast the next morning was coffee, orange juice, yogurt, fruit, and hand wrapped muffins (probably from someone's kitchen). I recommend skipping this hotel and trying somewhere else.

This is a cute hotel but owners are not putting a penny in any update. Poor breakfast: smallest fruit I’ve seen, just yougurt and muffins (small both). Sheet was stained, not extra blanket. Elevator had urine. Could be better

When I went to check in I was told my room would be in the corner with no balcony. I told her I booked the room shown on the Expedia website but she said those are not the rooms we rent out for the price I was paying if I wanted a room with a balcony I had to pay her $40.00 more in cash. So I had no choice but settle for the small room in the corner. When I enter the room the safe deposit box wasn’t working. So I had a lot of personal jewelry and cash that needed to be put in a safe deposit box. I went downstairs and told the woman that I needed a room with a safety deposit box. She replied that no room had any safe deposit box that works. I was shock to hear such a statement. No safety deposit box and she said no it’s safe for me to leave it in the room. I was upset and had to carry my stuff everywhere. Then I called Expedia who was very courteous and she called the hotel. The woman said no safety deposit box and hung up the phone on the Expedia representative. Wow we both were shocked . This place is not maintained the walls are dirty as you walk the halls. The bathroom in the lobby had a small sample soap for all guests to use for washing hands. I would not recommend this place at all.

We had a horrible experience with this hotel and staff. We reserved a week in advance for our trip through Expedia, but the Lotus double booked the room. The staff blamed Expedia and offered no assistance, other than to downgrade our room. We had to then reload our two carloads of people and find another hotel. Thankfully reserving a room on a holiday was made easier by Expedia and Residence Inn.

Small place. Yogart and banana for breakfast. Cappuccino machine 24 hours. Parking lot is to small. Hot tub didnt work. Rooms were clean.cleaning staff nice. Pool and beach are nice. Conveniently locaded. 15 minutes from daytona airport.

Always a good stay

The property was really pretty. Rooms were huge we had a room with a king and queen bed (yes both) and separated with own TVs.. Gorgeous ocean view.. The only thing that I didn’t like is the pool closed really early and 1 staff member said it was ok as long as quiet and we were and the next day another staff member came when we were in the pool at like 10:30(it’s summer vacation) and he was like no one in the pool after 9.. Also they did not ever let us start the fire pit so that was not cool. Other than that it was still a really nice property.. The facility is just really strict.

I always stay at the Lotus Hotel every time I go to Ormond Beach. I love it here! Lenworth at the front desk is an amazing person. He always makes sure my wife and I have an excellent stay. I'm just starting to notice is, it's time for remodeling.For sure! The mattress was very uncomfortable. The hot tub wasn't working. The paint is peeling off. We also tried to enjoy ourselves in the pool, but unfortunately a group of people came and we were constantly getting hit with a ball by a them playing volleyball in the pool so we just left.

The staff was so nice and accommodating. I loved being able to walk out of my room and be right on the beach. On the down side the only mirror is in the bathroom room. Otherwise it was a great stay for 2 days.

The room was clean however it had a damn molding smell. The parking was almost impossible!!! The room balcony was amazing and perfect distance of the beach ! The TV didn’t hardly message on the tv saying restart router. Front desk didn’t answer at all.

Would like to have seen a better breakfast offer and also a Jacuzzi that was working.

The room was clean. There was obvious damage from animals in our room. The breakfast was bare bones. We ate elsewhere. Location was good, right on the beach. We left something in our room and they called us later that day, we appreciated that.

The rooms need upgrading but by far I loved that our room was literally on the beach.. Nice heated swimming pool great staff..

Not true about breakfast, just a small muffin and coffee… maybe a yogurt if lucky.

The hotel is in a perfect location, the rooms were nicely furnished however the rooms that allowed pets had substantial damage and nothing was done to repair them.

Good stay

Overall we were satisfied. The parking is very limited had to park across the street most of the time. The sliding glass door to the balcony didn’t have a lock which made me nervous. The main door to the room had a lock but not the additional slide lock at the top of the door and the door opened to the outside which I thought was strange. Other than that the room was clean. We stay in ormond several times a year and it was a good option. I would ask for a different room next time.
