Really nice place. We loved our stay at Hampton Inn Utica, NY.

Pool was not operational, wish we would have known prior to booking.. with kids it was a bit stressful

The air conditioning in the lobby/breakfast area/elevator was out. The pool, which was supposed to be finished with repairs by the time we arrived, was still closed when we checked in and so we had no access. A smoke alarm went off for about an hour at night, and the folks staying in the room next-door to us played their television and then their music at an unreasonable volume all night long and no management intervened.

Staff member Bambi is a nasty, rude, and more of a liability than an asset. We checked in to her rudeness and nasty tone when we simply asked if she had a preferred place to eat that she could recommend..i then ask about what time the pool closes and she says its closed for repair and that it is all over Expedia and their website, however i took a picture, repairs were supposed to be done on July 16, they crossed thru the paper with a red marker and wrote July 23rd..she then gives us a room key to 331, my wife and i walk in and i say wow they didn't clean this room too well, my wife says this is someone else's room their luggage was still in the room....back to Bambi we go and i explain i think there was a mistake because someone's stuff is in there she rudely responds no, that room was assigned and cleaned this morning....after further review she gives us a key to room 133, i say oh it was just a typo and she says no it wasn't a typo and she is giving us this room instead (Clearly she couldn't admit having made a mistake)....we go to room 133 conveniently located next to the mechanical room (Sarcasm)and to say it was disgusting is an understatement, however i was not going to deal with Bambi again so we cleaned the bathroom ourselves with the toilet paper and hand towels in the room, Horrible everything across the board for this hotel!

The pool was closed we where not told this made a long weekend for a 4 year old that was looking forward to the hotel pool. We had paid extra to have a hotel with a pool. Some staff where rude. However at check out we again voised our disappointment and we received 10000. Roughly $50 toward our next booking.

We stayed at 3 Hampton Inns between Florida and New York and this one was the best kept overall but their breakfast was by far the most unacceptable for choices and quality. Really it wasn’t even in the same realm.

First floor was very loud in the morning. Lots of door’s closing loudly.

Came here for my husband‘s birthday front desk lady very rude didn’t really discuss anything on the phone me and my husband through checkout .. nice room , great location but stop advertising your free breakfast. Its awful. Very small room and small food choices but would hurt to just put bacon out or sausage or scrambled eggs. There was some chicken sausage some weird egg mixture and some potatoes. The potatoes were awful. Nothing tasted good went down at 8:30 and a lot of stuff was already gone. Better off no breakfast!

The room was comfortable and quiet. The outside building & grounds were lovely and well-kept. The inside was poorly maintained & not cleaned well. The lobby had garbage juice tracked all the way through it after someone changed the entrance garbage can. The shower had peeling wall paper, and there was hair in the sink and shower. Many buttons/switches felt grimy, and there was visible dust & spider webs near the A/C unit. Staff was friendly enough but seemed to be on auto-pilot with their canned speeches.

Hampton Inn os my first choice of hotels when on the road. This locations confirms why I stay in them. Awesome job to eberyone on the staff there!

Convenient enough but behind a Denny's.

Hampton is my first choice. Never stayed at this location and i can say ot definitely was a good stop.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and building is in very good shape. Would definitely stay there again.

Laundry Room

The floor appeared to not have been vacuumed, and there was a mouse trap under the desk. Outlets by bedside did not work either.

The front desk wasnt very friendly and seemed annoyed to be there

Hotel, was perfect for our needs with the women's world hockey championships. It was clean, tidy and quiet. Rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was available and was good, average. Staff were very helpful in answering questions.
