The property was clean and hotel staff was accommodating.

Staff was never around and after a wait at the front desk an employee would show up and act totally put out that we bothered them.
Housekeeping is only if your stay is more than 7 days so we never say anyone. Need fresh towels? Go wait at the front desk for someone to come back then get the attitude.

First time staying at Candlewood Suites and all was good and except for bed being a little hard than I’m use to but overall the stay was good. Location to beach, food was awesome. Definitely would stay again.

1. Elevator was iffy on working but the employee(wish I got her name) fixed it. Worked from then on but slow in coming down to lobby area.
2. PLEASE have them get a remote for the TV in the fitness room. None in room and when asked the employee working the next morning on it, they didn't know what happened to it, not helpful - and no one wants to watch the weather channel for an hour+. No way to change the channel on the monitor. Having a fitness room is a must for me so not a happy camper on that part, but all in all, was a good deal.

The elevator was broken the whole week we were there. The front desk workers were very rude. The air do not work in the room. The tv did not work in the room. Requested for a room cleaning never got that. Was called while out for the day that we needed to switch rooms when we returned . Came to the front desk to switch rooms and the lady told us sorry we don’t have any rooms to switch y’all to. Husband goes upstairs only to find out we were locked out of our room. Lady down stairs once again has no idea why . Anyway horrible stay would not recommend and would not stay again

The elevator was out the whole time we was there. And we had to haul all of our luggage up to the third level and for someone with asthma and going up and down stairs a lot takes a toll.

When we arrived we were told the elevator was not working. They offered a comp night, but because we paid Expedia they couldn’t guarantee the refund. There were broken fixtures in the room and the shampoo, conditioner, body soap dispensers were empty.

Overall the stay was good the front desk staff was amazing. The hotel could use some sound proofing, but it was still a good stay. Our bathroom didn’t have a fan for shower steam or a hair dryer but still it was a good stay!

The hotel wreaks of mold, the walls and floor are so thin that it feels like you’re going to fall through the floor. The mattresses on the bed and sofa bed were disgustingly dirty. Definitely not comfortable for a family to stay. Charged way too much for poor accommodations

Foul smell in hallways and stairwells. Elevator functioning was a concern - there was no annual maintenance report posted. Shower curtain only covered half of length of tub which left pools of water on the bathroom floor.
Location was great and close to everything, but the hotel is neglected and is not a good value for $250 a night. Made our trip to the area less enjoyable overall.

When I arrived I had to wait in the lobby for 30 min because no staff was at the desk.than I ask for a king size suit and they placed me in a queen.The elevator was bad I was hoping we did not get stuck on it.the room smelled bad and that tub was so nasty I was so disappointed for the money I had to spend.I would no recommend this place to anyone.

I filled this out right after our stay and didn't get a response. We paid for room with 2 queen beds, were give a room with only 1 bed. They moved us to a room that smelled of chemicals so badly we couldn't breathe. We were then given keys to a room that hand't been cleaned. Finally the 4th room was ok. The woman at the desk handling all these changes was irritated, rude. All this took several hours and so we had to cancel our plans for that evening. We're requesting a refund.

The entire hotel smells of mildew, the stairwell smells so bad we would hold our breath until we got out. When I pulled the sheets back on the bed it was covered in random hair and a bug crawled out from under the pillow. I couldn’t tell you the last time they may have used a vacuum. It was a long weekend for us, I highly recommend that you book anywhere else besides Candlewood suites.

Hotel was dirty. Clearly cleaned very quickly with little attention to details. The middle of rooms were semi- clean, but just about every edge had days/weeks (or more) old dirt. The elevator was superficially cleaned, on the last day, i bent down and used my finger to wipe up the dirt that was in the corner all the days we stayed.
Hotel smelled BAD VERY bad. Walking in you get hit with a cleaning smell, that is trying to be masked with a perfume smell, and its also notably stale. The elevator smelled like someone had a bathroom accident inside, and it wasnt proper cleaned up. The room and the hall on the 2nd floor reeked. Damp/ musky / mold smell, almost choking. This was a family event and not an individual event, with 10 rooms booked it was decided that we did not want to attempt to move everyone. Cranking up the AC helped.
The staff was complacent and showed little regard for security. From time to time, a card was left in the room when going to the pool area, and each and every time they asked what room number, swiped the card and never not once asked for who you are or to show ID. Someone could have easily looted a room just by asking for a key to room X. The gift shop/ concession area had exactly 1 bag of funyons - EVERYTHING else was sold out, from Thursday to Monday. The beverages were 1/2 stocked. All the transport carts were in rooms the entire stay. said they had 3. i carried my families luggage in and out. as they couldn't fine a cart. I did spot 1 on sat

Our room wasn’t clean, and it smelled rancid. The bathroom was nasty, toilet paper left in the toilet and not flushed. The room itself smelled extremely musky and the couch more like sewage with questionable stains. We asked for a blanket and pillow before smelling the couch and seeing the stains for our daughter and was given a fitted sheet as a blanket. Our daughter ended up having to sleep with my husband and I.

Staff is not friendly, not helpful at all they are too busy talking on their phones. Elevator were not working when I checked in, asked front office what should we do since our bags are heavy, attendant said take the stairs then proceeds to get back to talking on her phone. Everyone I go to for assistance is busy talking on their phone.

Hotel room was clean. The bathroom facet sprayed the water. There was only one coffee bag and I had to get another one from the desk. Bed was comfortable.

Decent hotel that is pet friendly and not too far from the beach and other attractions. It only had one elevator, so you could be waiting up to 5 minutes to go down from the top floor. I was charged a higher price for my dogs than what I was told over the phone and when I first arrived. The full size fridge was a plus and kitchen area with various ammenities.
