The check in was completed very quickly. The staff were friendly and efficient and most welcoming. As we were on the 3rd floor we took the lift which was clean. The room was much more spacious than I had anticipated with comfy beds and a couple of easy chairs as well as a desk. There was plenty of storage. The ensuite was also large with Dove toiletries provided. Being in the city there is the sound of nearby traffic but I slept ok. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Check out was also a simple process. There is plenty of car parking.

Disgusting dirty towels and a generally grubby room, raised concerns with duty manager only to be told sorry with a shrug of the shoulders.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Great food menu. Fab breakfast. Stayed here a few times, and they always remember me. Easy walk to Preston town centre. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Shame they don't take cash anymore. Not a complaint as such, but I don't like the way we are drifting into a cashless society.

The room had ‘kick kick kick’ noise when I was sleeping at night, very disturbing.

Spacious, comfy room. Clean! Although some hangers in closet, No hooks in the room to hang robes/ clothes etc Only 2 tea bags provided so had to keep asking for more which we didn't like to do.. the additional tea and milk were provided without any question. Our room was just by the internal corridor door which got quite disruptive with the continuous opening and closing as oeople walked through. Good Central location

Very handy for the town centre / train station. Room was spacious, warm and bed was comfortable. Staff were very helpful and parking is available. Would stay again.

This is your basic hotel, made better by helpful staff, high standards of cleanliness and easy access to station and University. I only made a last minute reservation as my train had been cancelled. I knew I would not get to hotel until nearly midnight. On emailing hotel they provided reassurance within minutes that reception was 24 hour, gave me top notch accurate directions from the station to hotel and instructions to gain hotel access. The check-in was quick and my room was warm and clean. The amenities are utilitarian, but well kept. There was a piping hot radiator next to the bed which really helped on a cold wet Lancashire night! The bathroom was compact, but again very clean and the shower had excellent water pressure and heat both at midnight and the next morning. I would definitely stay here overnight again.

Great hotel, only 10 minutes walking from the train station but don’t follow the directions from the hotels.com link! There’ll send you the wrong way, although there is a big sign to show you the right way. Lovely reception from the lady checking us in. Would definitely stay there again.

Found this to be a nice hotel. It was clean, tidy, quiet and warm. However, there was a broken, unusable shower which should have been noticed in cleaning prior to our arrival. This wasn't discovered until 6.30am so we had to go without - not handy.

Staff were particularly helpful and after i'd had an awful day were very sympathetic and eager to help.
