The ease of getting in and out of the property, the clean and relaxed space and the owners adaptability to meet my needs for my stay.

Very nice choice and friendly staff

The landlord was very helpful, the place itself was clean, issues were not enough parking at place when full and I was in the front room and there were families staying who’s children were very noisy in the morning and adults were noisy till early in the mornings

It was in a convenient location for our visit, it had good parking and a family room which we wanted.

Comfortable stay great host

Room lovely and spacious. Bed nice and comfortable. Location not too far from the town centre. Within easy walking distance of places to eat for dinner. Martin, the owner was very helpful. Came to Ipswich to visit relatives, so would stay at Lattice Lodge again.

This is a nice little guest house and the proprietor (Martin) was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My booking was a little complicated and there were a few paperwork issues, but they were soon sorted. The room I has was small, but clean. The TV didn't work properly (I think the aerial had a problem) - and I think it may be on the list for a slight update - but was fine for me. Breakfast in the morning was good quality and cooked fresh. All in all it suited what I needed this time.

Martin the owner was delightful and so helpful. Breakfast was superb but a little slow due to a new kitchen hob they were still trying to work out. But fab and full brekkie. Suggestions provided for somewhere good to eat for dinner as we’d never been to Ipswich before. Plus a very handy Sainsbury’s local opposite in case you need anything at the last minute! Thank you Martin and co for a very enjoyable evening for my 8-yr old son, 78-yr old dad and I 😁😁

Owner as lovely, really friendly. Booking and payment was easy and communication excellent. The actual place is nice, a good value B&B with nice beds in a good location. Shower wasn't fantastic and could do with a bit more oomph but otherwise a very pleasant stay.

We didn’t stay for breakfast as we didn’t have time but it smelt good!! Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful room. Martin was a wonderful host and he and his staff really care that you are happy with your accommodation. I really liked that he had a small common fridge available for guest use. He is a real hands on guy and seemed to always be doing laundry or cleaning. Would definitely recommend staying here. Also nice to have a grocery store across the street, on a bus route and nearby restaurants. He puts together a nice info pack which was handy. I also appreciate that he is very eco friendly.

Comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price Martin is a very good host and I would definitely recommend this guest house

Very nice hotel, room was very comfortable. Breakfast room was a little chilly though. Everything else about the stay was fine.

We stayed for two nights and although the owner wasn't there when we arrived there were clear instructions on checking in and he was very helpful and friendly. There was complimentary tea and coffees and a selection of crisps and nuts for a price. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights, enjoyed a wonderful breakfast, comfortable accommodations and free WIFI. Martin was extremely friendly and accommodating, very ready with tips about the area, places to eat and things to do. For the price, we couldn't have expected anything more - as very experienced travelers, it exceeded our expectations and we'd happily stay again. Highly recommended.

Excellent, could not have given us more for the price

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was very tasty. Martin's service and helpfulness were second to none. Can't rate him highly enough. I would definitely use Lattice Lodge again if staying in Ipswich.

A brilliant, clean, comfy bed and breakfast. Martin, the owner was very cheerful and helpful. I was upgraded for free from a single to a double and would definitely recommend this place to others. I stay away a lot with work and have stayed in some poor places - this however, is not one if them ! Keep up the good work Martin.

Can't complain - sold hotel and good value

I would highly recommend Lattice Lodge. As a single traveller I felt safe and was very well cared for during my stay. Bus into the town centre stops right in front of the Lodge and is frequent. The breakfasts were excellent and the staff very kind, friendly, and helpful. My room was well equipped and lovely and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing out of the ordinary - average on most counts

I was visiting Ipswich with friend to see my daughter at the university. We were pleasantly surprised by the Lattice and would stay again. One disappointment was the terrible shower!!! It needs seriously upgrading. However we managed and had avery nice stay.
