The hotel is in a perfect location. Right om the lake with amazing views and within short walk to the restaurants and boat ride companies. Lovely quiet residential area. Excellent staff, really helpful and pleasant. High quality breakfast. Overall an excellent choice for our stay in lake garda

Right on the water with fabulous views of Lake Garda. Staff were so friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast every morning, and walkable to all the lovely restaurants, train station and tourist info. We loved our stay, thank you!

The hotel was very nice, better than most 4* hotels we stayed in, location excellent, next to the lake but very close to the center, girl at the reception extremely nice and helpful, the family room similar to an apartment and direct access to the terrace. And we loved the breakfast!! We will be back for a longer stay and probably in summer to enjoy also the pool!

Great stay

The location is stunning, Very clean newly refurbished rooms that are light, airy and spacious. The location is perfect. Very peaceful location but with in minutes walk to the local town that has wonder shops & stunning restaurants. The buffet breakfast has a vast range of options. This was our second visit to the hotel and will definately be back.

Very nicely remodeled boutique hotel in Peschiera. Loved the location overlooking Lake Garda, and it was a short walk to the ferry and center of town. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Rita and Madeline at the Front Desk were excellent with suggestions and recommendations. Breakfast was great and very well attended to. Highly recommend Hotel San Marco!

This is a really, really nice place: Fantastic view over the lake, nice room, nice swimming pool, excellent breakfast, and excellent service! I highly recommend it for a short or long stay. Will come back again!!

We stopped off in Peschiera for one night and ended up staying for 2! The hotel is easy to find with parking right behind. Our room was clean and spacious, the balcony had the most amazing view over the lake. What a joy to wake at dawn and watch the sun come up! It's an easy walk into the town and it's many shops and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel with very nice, in my case small but fine, rooms. Facilities are excellent and the staff was great. Right on the water and the lungolago. Would definitely stay here again.

Small clean hotel on the south side of lake garda with staff that had a very minimal knowledge of the area around. We only spent 1 night there and wanted to find something to do in the area and no one was able to give any directions. Not the most friendly stay but clean and having a parking spot was a plus. The rooms were overwhelmingly scented with freshener. I felt like I was sleeping in the laundry mat. Thank god we only stayed 1 night. The area had a great town with many restaurants and shops too bad the staff were not able to share it. We found it on our own by simply looking for a decent place to eat dinner because the restaurants near the water were awful.

Great place, immaculate condition

Hotel San Marco is a 3 star hotel which probably could be a 4 star hotel. It has the following advantages: - location adjacent to the lake. - very clean hotel throughout. - we had the family room which was excellent. - 5 minutes walk to nearby restaurants and town. - quiet location with no noise in the evenings. - good variety at breakfast. - good pool although on the small size. - good balcony for sun bathing if pool area over crowded. - family room had good shared balcony areas. That said, we had a freak incident with our room which spoilt our holiday experience. Our children like many children have a phobia of spiders. My son kicked a large spider on the wall thinking it was a stone wall. The wall was actually made of a thin material which caused damage as per the pictures attached. The matter was reported to the management so that it could be dealt with. We had in our mind that we would have a reasonable bill to pay for the damage. The manager presented us with a bill/quotation of €450 which in all honesty for a big surprise. We were informed that they had to get some special board to fill tHe gap. I asked could they get 3 quotations as I believed this was very excessive. They refused and we were left to pay the full bill. Having worked with builders and trades people in the UK My opinion is that there is no justification for €450 for maybe maximum 3 hours work. Perhaps I will retrain in this trade and earn €150 per hour. We do not object to a reasonable bill of say €100

Really good hotel with a great breakfast, great views and friendly staff. WiFi didn’t work during our stay and the hotel didn’t have the ”I’m still using the towel” -policy as they were all changed even when left hanging on wall. Other than these, a great stay!

I absolutely loved this hotel!! It has the best view in the city and is a short 5 minute walk from the city center! The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was great. I also enjoyed using the spacious sundeck and pool area.

Unfortunately, we can hear all other guests talking and moving furniture around during the night

I feel like this property had many aspects to review. It was close enough to the water but not what we expected. There wasn't a beach close to swim. There is a pool onsite that was only open until 7pm. Shops and restaurants were close to walk to. The hotel was very clean and the staff was outstanding. If it wasn’t for the staff, we would have had a different feel of our stay. The breakfast was very good with a lot of variety. They had free on site parking which was great. The hotel entrance had beautiful decorations and places to sit outside. I would have given a higher review if the rooms were nicer. Simplistic is the best explanation. We’ve been traveling Italy for 2 weeks and stayed in several different hotels and this hotel was the most uncomfortable and basic in decor. There was no privacy between areas for the quadruple room and the room was very bare. The beds were very uncomfortable and very firm. It felt more dorm room than nice hotel. Maybe they were remodeling and hadn’t finished the rooms. Our room had a frosted half glass into a sun deck. Making it awkward. We couldn’t open the window or even look out without it feeling awkward. The room wasn’t great but The staff made up for how we felt about the room. They were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is modern style with spacious rooms (we booked 3 bed room), clean and tidy. The breakfast was served in Corona-conform buffet style. Free parking in hotel area is limited and parking outside the hotel costs 30.- Euro per day which we needed for the first day. Old town and haven are in walking distance. We enjoyed the 3 nights on the lake side.

The hotel was as amazing as I thought it would be. Right opposite the lake in a quiet location and 5 to 7 minutes walk from the ferry terminal in Peschiera. Extremely clean and nicely presented. We had a room at the front so had a view of the lake, which was a bonus. We also booked the last room which was really for 4, so we had a huge air conditioned room. Breakfast was plentiful and included in our price and good variety to suite all tastes. Small family hotel with a lovely pool and sun loungers available, on an upper deck as well as beside the pool. Small bar area serving both hot and cold drinks plus snacks which they will bring to you at the poolside. Couldn't fault it and so glad a room was available for us. Stored our luggage whilst awaiting check-in and happy to assist with anything we needed. Loved our stay and would definitely like to go back with our friends.
