I stayed here because of the separate bedrooms and free breakfast.. I've stayed in over a hundred hotels.. and this breakfast is the saddest thing I've seen offered at a hotel.. old and cold French toast in a Ziploc bag.. nothing hot. This is ridiculous..

A few issues but all addressed right away

Lots of room in the two-bedroom suite. Everything was clean and well maintained. Great location in what I assume is downtown 😊 Lots of places to walk for food or other essentials. Easy to get off Hwy 63 and in. Underground parkade is a definite plus.

Great check in experience and close to food

The person on the third floor, above me, walked around heavily and frequently, so that the glass in the lamp shades clattered, until almost midnight. Spoilt the entire experience.

Front desk staff was amazing. I was there as my brother passed away unexpectedly and they allowed me to check in early and gave hugs. This is the place to stay if your in Fort McMurray

Clean, very friendly staff. The a/c heater unit was so noisy when it kicked in, it woke us up. Also, there were no stands to put your suitcase on.

This property is fairly new and modern. The suites are very large. My room was good other than the kitchenette had barely any thing to cook with and there was no dishwashing towels to wash dishes. It appeared as though they just put a bunch of mismatched, hodge podge kitchen tools in with out much thought as to how they could be useful. Other than that the room was good. The hotel itself was not great. The reception desk is on the second floor (very strange). You never interact with the hotel staff unless you go directly to the second floor. This also means the front entrance is always locked and your room key is supposed to open it. That did not ever happen for me. I had to buzz upstairs and then they would unlock the door. They never asked who it was who was buzzing in and would just open the door. This is a bit of a safety concern for me. Another issue was there is no gym in the building. I work out a lot and expected some form of a fitness area. There was nothing. Lastly, when I booked, it said "complimentary breakfast" it did not say "continental breakfast" so I was surprised and not very happy when I went to go for breakfast and 1). It was a carb only breakfast and 2) it was to go only, using tons of containers and bags. If I had known, I would have brought other food (eggs, bacon, etc) to cook in my ill-appointed kitchenette. It was disappointing as I typically stay at the Franklin Suites in Fort Mac and the breakfast is hot and variety. Doubt I'll stay here again.

Everything was great when all your renovations are done you will be one of the best in your area . That is if you keep your good customer service. Staff was great , impressed that one of your house keeping young man said thank you for staying here . Good luck and remember treat people like you would like to be treated . It’s okay

We were very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room. We were expecting a 1 bedroom with mini kitchen receive a 2 bedroom with full kitchen, 2 baths and a sitting room. Staff was very pleasant. Would stay again. Amazing bang for our buck!

The suite I was in was really nice. It was well lit and very clean. I appreciated having the cooking facilities. The only downside of my stay was that I did not know before I booked that there were renovations happening and that I would have to walk through that everyday. In saying that, it did not bother me too much. I just would have liked to know before I arrived.
