Beautiful boutique hotel, no lift, but rooms are large. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to Train station and short walk to centre of town, very quiet. Lounge area on ground floor has lovely river view.

What a gorgeous place. Even better than the website. Right next to the Moselle and 5 min walk into town. Our room was spacious with a great shower room. The wine bar and terrace were the winners ! I'd love to go back.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days. The staff was so kind and helpful. The location is perfect. Close enough to the town to walk, but far enough away to have some peace and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

By far the best place to stay in Cochem. The owners were incredibly friendly and the rooms were amazing. There is a direct view of the river, castle and downtown area. It is also within walking distance of everything in Cochem.

I didn't actually get to stay at this hotel since they changed my reservation to another hotel without my knowledge. So this review is based on the fact that they didn't honor my reservation. We arrived and were told they overbooked and we had to go somewhere else. This is an awful practice & I've never experienced anything like it before. I carefully pick out what hotel I prefer and do not appreciate anyone changing it on me. One of the major reasons I chose this hotel was it's charm and location. The hotel I was sent to was more modern & further from everything we wanted to do. I can't review the hotel itself, but if you're looking to book here, BEWARE they may not honor your reservation! If you're anything like me, that's enough to keep you away...

An absolute wonderful place. Truly a surprise and a wonderful attitude to comfort and making one feel at home. There is self service trust system that makes one feel like one is practically home.

Checked in and was assured there was wifi. We got to our room to find no wifi. We complained and were told it is not working. Breakfast was below average. Nice big rooms but tiny and I mean tiny bathroom. No wifi except outside of your room. I would never recommend. The advertise wifi in rooms and seemed to careless that it does not exist.

I stayed here for three nights in December whilst at a Conference and had a very pleasant experience. Theo, the owner, picked me up from Frankfurt airport (FRA) which made everything run very smoothly. The room was very spacious and well heated, and featured a balcony overlooking the picturesque town of Cochem. Excellent buffet breakfast. The hotel was kept well stocked with an excellent selection of beer and spirits, which was much appreciated!

This is a charming hotel and we had a wonderful third floor view. The only challenge you might encounter, besides no lift, is the church across the square that rings the bells every quarter hour 24 hours per day. If you stay long enough it is probably white noise, but we were aware of it. During the day there is a long pretty bell lyric on the hour, but during sleeping hours it is simply the quarter hour gong.
