Pros: Location, staff service at bar is top and the layout of the hotel, really recommend the suite, very spacious.
Cons: Early noise by staff like cleaning public areas, maintenance, recommend doing those after 9 or 10 am.
Check out at 11AM is crazy, had to leave the room even though I had to depart the island until 1PM.
Other than that, recommend the place.

If you like sleep - stay somewhere else. There is a rooftop bar and the music is so loud it was like trying to go to sleep at a rave. Party people walked up and down to the roof and we could hear it all. Then in the morning the boutique next door played super loud music at 8 am. So we had very poor sleep every night. It was stressful.
The place itself it’s pleasing but the noise level is a complete dealbreaker for us. And btw - we were staying in the back of building where it was more “quiet”.

Location was great and service was excellent. Room was really clean. With this location you are in walking distance to a lot of things and don’t really need to use a taxi

Pleasant staff, great location and the room was great. Comfortable beds and lovely and clean. Best experience in Holbox we’ve had by far. Highly recommended and we’re rebooking very very soon. See you in May !

The main selling point here is value. This hotel offered a nicer and bigger room, faster wifi and warmer shower than Amaite, which is 2 blocks down on the beach and costs 5X what this hotel costs.
Location is on the central plaza, which can get a little noisy. There's no beach but its only a couple of minutes away and you can grab a lounger in one of a few dayclubs.
The main issue I had with the hotel was the complete lack of amenities (they don't even have an iron) and the fact that I had to kill a couple of smaller cockroaches in my room. Other than that - great.

It’s ok considering other options. It’s on the main road, kind of noisy. Staff is super friendly, facilities could use an updating. Also, the room smells. It’s incredible how many hotels in this area have a musty smell, I did not leave my clothes on the closet for this reason.

I love the staff and location.
I booked this hotel because of the rooftop bar ambience, but the bar was closed due to covid. The pool was also closed.
I wish that the shower had some shampoo and conditioner and the beds had a blanket.

Decent hotel. Located not too far from restuarants. It would help if the hotel included the golf cart taxi pick up/drop off for guest. Taxi people increased the prices to whatever they wanted so it wasn't the same price.

The hotel is really nice with good size rooms. It’s very centrally located. There is a rooftop bar that is really cozy however be aware that there is very loud music during the evenings. I was at the floor most far away from the rooftop and the music was still very loud in my room. Also there are no hot water but I think that is very normal for the island. Other than that I would recommend staying here.

This is our favorite place to stay in Holbox. Right downtown, 2 blocks from the beach. Get a room with a balcony facing town. I’m writing this from an all inclusive resort in puerto morales wishing I was back in Holbox at the arena. The breakfast place 2 doors down is great. Love love love Hotel arena!

As this island is really small this hotel is in the middle of the centre and all the bars and nightlife so it became very noisy all nights so we had big problems sleeping every night. Its also a bar on the roof and to reach that you need to go through/inside the hotel where the rooms are so as people came and left the bar you heard it all. Not so nice If you need your sleep.
Otherwise it was a ok hotel.

Nice little hotel, spacious suite, all you need for a hotel in Holbox, nice staff and good location in the center of the town. Only thing missing is a restaurant to have breakfast but there are plenty of restaurants nearby!

Great location. We have stayed at this location before. Highly recommended!! You are in the middle of town square. Best view from pool at the 3rd floor. Staff is very friendly and very clean comfortable rooms.

Room #1 overlooks the Main Street in the center of town... has a kitchenette and double-door balcony with lots of seating.... 3 shorts blocks to the beach.... pool and bar upstairs.... 3rd time in Holbox.... will always stay here every time now.... same room too!! Reasonably priced and very clean!! 😁

This property is in the heart of Holbox. The location is perfect. We had the suite (I highly recommend) we used then fridge and coffee pot daily. Our balcony was incredible other than one hammock that needed to be replaced. The only towels were 2 large towels, no smaller washcloths. There was a blow dryer, but no shampoo or soap or anything of that nature. The room was clean, the location was great, the AC was wonderful, I would definitely stay here again.

Nice rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and air conditioning was welcome relief to outdoor temps. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful.

Hotel Arena was easy to find and easy with check-in and check-out. They were not there when we wanted to check out at 7am to go on a whale shark tour but they were incredibly understanding and didn’t charge us for checking out a bit late after we came back. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong but sufficiently cool for us to sleep comfortably.

Pros: Good value, clean, close to the restaurants, 5 min wal from a beautiful beach.Cons: Low water pressure, located across main town square so very noisy at night, lacking proper safety box. Good experience overall.

We intended on a one night only stay because we arrived at Holbox a day earlier then expected, but we found the property to be comfortable and pleasing, to the point we didn't want to leave. When we checked in at the hotel that we originally planned to spend a majority of our stay at; we were disappointed. We quickly decided to cancel our reservation and retun to Hotel Arena.
We suggest getting the Jr Suite overlooking the town square. It is well worth it.
