Great place with friendly staff and good amenities, very quiet and close to the beach - Recommended !

We came for a week and booked three more! It’s such a special place❤️ The staff treats you so well and looks after all your needs. It’s far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the cliffs but yet a short walk if you want to venture out for a meal. The beach is fabulous and the Arabian Sea water is so warm and therapeutic. Afternoons are often spent around the pool with a book. They’ve just built a fabulous Ayurveda clinic a stones throw away and the massage was excellent. I can’t say enough about how much my husband and I are enjoying our stay and even though the flight is a long one from Canada we will certainly return!

The reception greeting was very warm, we also met the owner who very kindly arranged a birthday cake for me and introduced us to the other guests. This exceeded our expectations. The room was very comfortable and clean, nice shower and the pool and facilities were excellent. I would recommend this place.

There is nothing i can find to fault this place, it really is that good in all aspects. The rooms are clean and airy, the staff are the best , nothing is too much for Lilly or Shah to do for you.... we named it ,they sorted it. The best holiday i have ever had and im 58 and been all over the world, grade A, second to none.

Temple Festival made sleeping impossible, the place could use some upgrading for sure. If you cant handle rustic, it might not be for you. Renting a scooter from the manager was a convenience and its walking distance to Varkala Cliff. And the resort restaurant down near the beach was excellent.

Magnolia guest house was absolutely charming! Located in a quieter more relaxing area of varkala. Rooms were spacious and clean. Lilian was also a very nice host. Would definitely return here again!:)

Great location, away from the tourist area. Very chilled-out place to stay. Bungalow satisfactory, although could have been cleaned better. Shame about the noise from a nearby building in the early hours of the morning and randomly throughout the day.
