Avoriaz not morzine. Hotel was fine room could of been tidier and beds not made but linen provided. the resort complex is a little tired and needs some tlc. You have to walk from the luggage drop off to your apartment block which was 15 mins for us pushing a wobbly trolley full of luggage. Or a minibus is available at €10 for a 2 minute drive. The carpark is also 20 minutes walk so you'll be fit by the time youve dropped your bags off then moved your car and walked back. The apartment was basic standard alps with a nice view kitchen basic with no oven but did have pans so you can make a meal. Ours on paper slept 7 but in reality sleeps 5 to 6 comfortably. I would stay again as the price is reasonable.

Pros - large living room , large balcony, relatively comfortable beds , close to the high street via the stairs and easy to reach the ski school via skis . Great for self catering
Cons - very small bedroom ( no enough space around the bed) , reception was closed had to go the hotel next door , a bit worn out , door stopper on the floor in the bathroom too close to the toilet - causing injuries . Not that great if you want a bar or a coffee in the lobby apres ski or in the evening . No entertainment just a block of flats .

Great location for a family vacation. Direct access to Avoriaz Bike Park and Chatel Bike Park. Apartment is well laid out and spacious enough. Good facilities in Avoriaz and friendly, helpful staff.

This apartment block is not where it proports to be on the map nor is it 3.61km from Morzine centre as described on Hotels.com.
We booked two nights for the cycling but ended up leaving after the first night to pay for more accommodation due to the location not being what was described and what we wanted.
Also a damage waiver has been taken from my credit card of 200 euro which has not yet been returned. We officially checked out on Monday morning.

The Property & Village is so Gorgeous & Breathtaking View but be aware that this is on top of the mountain so it requires very good driving skills going up in zigzag road.

Efficient staff however needed door code to get to reception and opening hours very short.
Free taxi service (horse drawn) to and from car park, be prepared to wait we had a 25 min wait on return which needs to be factored in if you have planes/boats/trains to catch.
Great location, quiet as high in resort. Ski in and out but not for beginners if snow is poor as it’s a bit narrow and tricky and you have to get a very busy chair lift back to get high enough to ski home.
Poor cleanliness stains on mattress cover and bedding, dirty microwave, very dusty ledge above head board, ripped cushions, tired and worn apartment with lots of marks scratches everywhere. Take air freshener for the toilet! Bath is child sized. Plenty of hot water and very warm throughout.
Long way to supermarket through resort down 4 sets of stairs up 4 sets of escalators (1 set not working).
Ski room adequate; empty cupboard no hooks or racks very tight on space only room for one family at a time.
Good working lift system.
No oven, hob and microwave only.

Room we had was great size and condition, Only problem we had ski locker was not heated we had to take our ski boots inside the room to dry.

Staff really nice, and very helpful. organised luggage storage as we were early. My daughter was staying on two extra days in another Pierre & Vacances and staff were very helpful trying to get her an early checkin and moving her belongings. we will be back.

We stayed here on our way from Milan to Paris for a night. We only wished we had a week at this resort. We had no idea. It is a bit more out of the way than we thought. It said 30 miles but that is about an hour drive through the French winding alps. But that is also the joy of it. It was an amazing Resort area and we spent the next morning hiking around and wandering through the little village activities and shops. The room was a bit small but very efficient and actually had more sleeping area with two bedrooms and pull out couches than we had seen on our travels. We showed up late like 11 pm but they have 24-hour checkin. Just be sure you know where you are going. Hotels.com directions did not quite get us there and we had to drive another 5 km up the mountain. You have to park and then walk your luggage or take a taxi for 7 euro to your apartment. But that is because it is a pedestrian only resort. When we woke up we were amazed and stunned by the beauty and the range of activities available at the resort. We all want to return during ski season definitely. But for the price we paid, this was an absolute steal and provided excellent memories for our family.

First time in Avoriaz, a family of 5 (kids aged 4 ,7 and 11). We stayed for 7 nights and had very good overall experience. The hotel provides transportation from covered parking on the day of check in and check out, need talk to coordinating person in parking when arrive to receive a voucher. Ski out is possible from hotel with small kids, ski in - only for more experienced skiers, need to use blue run. Laundry service is available, costs 9 euro (washing machine+tumble dry).

Apartment a bit smaller than the pictures would suggest but far better than older p & v properties. Comfortable and cosy probably the best descriptions for the property. Good quality bread available at reception for the morning and so to the door great.

The directions to the hotel were not provided which meant that it took us two hours in a snow storm to find it, when I reality it should only have taken 20 mins. Once we arrived at the hotel we were then provided with a map of how to get to and from. This information would have been handy to have before arriving, due to the fact that there are short cuts on escalators and lifts that you can get, which are not provided on a road map. The reception is often closed so impossible to check in or place you luggage in a luggage room etc but thankfully the hotel next door is a sister hotel and they were extremely helpful. There were only two of us in this room which was perfect but it said online that this room was able to sleep 4 people which wouldn't have been possible. Great access to the slopes. Gorgeous scenery and very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again now I know where it is and to go to the hote next door to check in.

other than initial problems with the room relating to single beds for our children and also an unsuitable location next to the boot/ski-room everything was fine with the apartment.

2nd time here, not as good as the first. No towels, no sheets on arrival and took ages to sort out and after 16 hours drive its the last thing you need. There is no clarity on when the reception is open. That said however the place is very functional and clean and on the slopes i think i'll try and find something better next time the handling of the lack of sheets and towels was pretty poor i accept things happen but the staf should be proactive esepecailly once a guest makes an issue known.
